Ya continue counting the number of times he touches the ball while we keep counting the goals. It's 7 in 7 tho.

We will help you to count how many times Morata touches the ball and fell like a bag of beans.
Holy fukkin Jebdediah! !!! grin grin grin

Bashing Morata for losing physical battles is like bashing Fabregas for not winning his duels........You know their strengths, play to it.

Trying to let him battle Mustafi and co is like crossing for Dybala......Makes no sense

Fixed the midfield, dominate the game and Morata will do the rest.

It's not that simple homie.

Same 'build-up play' excuses were made for Nando in the past. We had to even set-up the Mazacar - of which the tiki-taka is the archetype, just to see that Nando started scoring but alas, it would turn out that his case was that of an old witch holding him back in Madrid and not the system.

The system doesn't stop you from standing your ground as a forward. Morata has not been standing his ground, the frailty in his game needs immediate attention.

Our dominating of play would count for nothing if our focal point is always picking himself up from the ground every now and then. It's akin to calling a sexy ebony chick over to your place to have her rimmed hard from behind only for you to notice that your third leg is refusing erection. At that point, the up-through pass from the chick who visited just got wasted.

Morata has to stay strong to start scoring more. If he can't stay strong, then he should stay smart.

Stay smart by running circles around defenders. He can't score much goals playing our games with his back to goal, receiving the ball and forcing a straight run at goal. He doesn't have the strength to see that out. I can trust Drogba with that, I can trust Costa with that, I can trust Torres with that if we are playing against Hull City. Morata hasn't given me reasons to have faith in his ability to peel off defs and run at goal. He makes himself easy to mark, which also gives him less time on the ball.

Instead of trying to hold-up play and falling awkwardly at a slightest marking, he should start running circles around defenders. He'll have the edge if he is constantly moving.

If you've noticed, I distanced myself from any Morata arguments here. I am not against the lad, neither am I a strong fan. I just wanted to take my time to follow his game closely and believe me, what I've seen so far is worrisome.

He is technically good, million miles ahead of that Congolese up north but he can only mutate into a beast if he starts giving defenders something to worry about.

My three cents.

Yesterday was just sad, not just because chelsea drew but also because chelsea didnt play well as a team, our attack was so weak.

Willian and Pedro should be matured enough to lead the team but no, they are just a bunch of mishaps with a few good days.

Once moses started playing rubbish, willian was going to suffer. The team was just struggling, it's been months chelsea dominated a strong opponent, the last time was tottenham in the FA cup finals.

Your striker that can only score when you dominate games.
Lol.
Una for just buy Chicharito na, instead of wasting 70m

I would score goals as a striker too if I played in a team that dominated games.

No Costa, no plan B:

It was an afternoon when Chelsea tried to pick out Álvaro Morata and the summer signing did his level best to get on the end of the crosses. It did not happen for him, although that is not to say he was poor. Just because a striker does not score, Antonio Conte said afterwards, his performance ought not to be damned. But where was Chelsea’s plan B? Out of the country, to be precise. Had Diego Costa been about, this was the type of contest the Chelsea and Spain striker would have relished. Arsenal’s back line, with Shkodran Mustafi in fine form, was unusually comfortable; surely Costa would have done something to unsettle them? The former Atlético Madrid forward, who has been in his native Brazil for weeks, has done so in the past. Conte has had his fill of Costa’s devilment. For Chelsea’s opponents, there is relief that he is out of the picture.

Sorry, no striker shoild be losing physical battle with fücking Mustafi.

Mustafi is one of the weakest centrebacks in EPL if not the absolute weakest.

Most strikers would flatten Mustafi. Drogba woulda sent Mustafi to hospital yesterday.

You can't be comparing legends with bench warmers.

Maybe the team should just find a way to be delivering balls into the box for Morata to nod since that's his strength

It was a great union, one that was blessed with 16 goals in 16 outings. I am not a fan of polygamy, but I can't help but admire what DD did with Senderos, Toure, Djourou and so many other concubines whose names have been withheld.

Have you kissed the ring bro?
