Thanks for this insightful comment. One thing I like other tribes in Nigeria is that you hardly see them shouting hausa fulani, ijaw yoruba muslim christian they will face their trial unlike our crying crying brothers, everything is tribal and religious issue.

Nemesis1:
This one is very deep

See them rejoicing in jubilation, Jonathan sent army to Lagos for 6 weeks before election, apart from Tinubu making contact with outside world little is known of the operation because the closed off the area

Not one of the Yoruba groups came out to fight, stone or attack army, not because we can't, but because we know when to fight and when to keep quiet

That is one of the reasons why Jonathan was voted out. After postponing election for a month or was it three months ( never happened in history of Nigeria)

He laid siege on Tinubu's house

He made last minute appointments

Soldiers and mobile police were seen wearing PDP arm band,

He used DSS as his tool of intimidation as well

Now they are screaming to high heavens

I'm telling you. I saw your comments on that thread and I just smiled.

It is really funny how these guys think everyone owes them an obligatory sympathy.

Well, I don't owe no one.
From your supposedly well written article on how state powers should be used and sustained in intimidating and killing of dissenting voices - We can now agree that it should then become a norm in our fragile democracy and also that Buhari's day is in waiting after he leaves office abi ?

I have always told you that we can't continue to be doing the same thing ,the same way and over and again while expecting a different result . From a rational point of view devoid of any sentiment based on your political association or ideological conviction what are you actually saying ? So we can continue with it and build what kind of society exactly at the end of the day?

Just wait and see.

I will start from the students own. When I'm coming down to naija, will talk more.

Pls, you will help me conduct the question and answer session in education section which I will create very soon. Indeed, I want you to frame the question and monitor the answers, then decide the winner.

I did it before, and I invited you for same but you showed up lately (think very well). I left that one, because I made a very costly mistake.

I will quote you when I create the thread.
I'm not very sure I'd be sufficiently available for such engagement bro. Working on a scholarly article i wanna publish before the week runs out. Lot of research to do.

Such a pity, needless to say stuff like this is right down my alley. wink

So sad..

Omenka, I owe you a lot for this reminder.

Infact, I will communicate you soon.

To be specific, I owe you a wrist watch (for yourself) and some jewelleries for your spouse. You can name any other items you like, but later, not here.

God bless you.

And to other good student nairalanders, I'm giving out the sum of 50k to five lucky ones. I will open a thread for that in education section later in the day.

Questions should be answered to win 10k.

Belle just dey sweat me die, I swear.
Hahahahah. Na so e sweet you reach? grin

Come on dude, don't get clever with me.

There are several actions this government has taken which I condemned. The government isn't perfect, not by a long shot.

What I find unacceptable is the endless torrent of insults and criticisms from people who, in the just recent past, sang hallelujah to acts like this, carried out by the immediate past admin.

How many of these folks ever raised a critical tongue against Goodkuck Jonathan that they expect us to sympathise them now or lampoon the government?

Things certainly aren't the way they should be, granted, but there are people to whom I pay attention when they raise such injections, and those people don't include the likes of ffk and other die hard PDP supporters. wink

Wow...... We the Progressive union of Nairaland are proud of you Boss omenka. When we talk, we are tagged BMC doing work to justify our stipend. My reply always is that no one is paying us or giving us data for doing this. We are doing this for the progress of Nigeria.

You guys are really pathetic, tell this long tales to the souls lost in Aba. FYI, less than 20% Ibos actually support ipob or whatever succession.
Our military needs to be called to order on the rules of engagement. Imagine sending mine resistant armoured vehicles the US govt gave Nigeria to fight boko haram to threaten to show force in Aba.
And for our president who didn't deem it fit to address the nation on this incident, this might just be the end of his presidency, his legacy. Mark my word

The President lost Abia last time in 2015.
So stop threatening him. You didn't make him President in 2015 and you will not make him lose in 2019 if he decides to seek re-election
You guys think so highly of yourself in that dungeon call SE.

A bundle of stupidity is when you bring stones and sticks for a gun fight. Many people, even their own kin don't sympathize with them, not because they hate them, but they are stupid.

No blood was shwd because people around that place behaved like a human being, they did not result into stoning the Army and police.

The OP just chose to masturbate and as expected he was joined by people of his likes. It remains a fact that no single soul was killed during the so called injustice of the GEJ government.Even the hypocritical Ojota demonstration by Tinubu & like-minded APC hypocrites never witness bloodshed.Meanwhile Buhari's government also increased fuel prices and the hypocrites said they wont protest because the accrued subsidy will be in "safe hands" Karma is waiting for you all
how will a soul lost, when they are not throwing stone at the Nigerian army like some babarians did somewhere elsegrin

I've been silent about this whole thing cos I don't really support it and I feel it's really none of my business as a SWesterner.

I'd rather observe whilst munching my popcorn.

That being said, thanks for exposing potor hypocrisy. It's hard to feel sorry for them. I might open one wtr what they said during Operation Awatse in SW.

I need your assistance on questions in social sciences cos I'm in physical science and wouldn't know what exactly to ask in that field.

You ask and decide the winner at you own discretion.
