Thanks for the prompt response. They are different institutions. Masters: UNILAG and BSC: TASUED
threadstone:

If they are from the same institution, just save yourself the stress that may show up during verification and evaluate both. But if they are from different institutions, you can evaluate only the masters.

Unilag won't have send your transcript if you pay 30k. Officiall fee with courier is just N18,500 which is divided into 2,500 for processing fee and 16k for courier fee. May be the person that help you might have taken that decision on your behalf even after collecting 30k

I won't personally advice anyone to use NIPOST. You can see how the package moves from one destination to another with courier. It should take an average of 4-5 working days using courier.
Very rigt Grammy. My transcript cost exactly 18500 and I was able to track it till it got to Canada.

Congrats bro.

Mine is nothing to write home about. Worse than the first infact, got 7 in listening while first attempt was 7.5.
All others were okay.
Demotivated, confused is an understatement right now. 68k down the drain again embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed
Allow me share little experience. I felt almost same way you feel when I saw my first result, in the anger I registered myself and my wife. Though without her writing ielts, we stand a chance of hitting 452, I wasn't thinking straight as clearly there was no need for her writing. When I was claim, I realized we'd be spending 151k (the two exams + remark). 151k to dash BC when POF never complete, and that was even discounting the earlier 68k.

We later decided to go for just the remark as chances were high we'd get the boost. Eventually went with option of writing the second time just as a back-up.

Think about your result but don't dwell too much on it. Pick yourself up and forge ahead. If you didn't leave too many questions unanswered, I think you should explore remarking.

It hurts even more knowing the effort that went into working and studying at thesame time but I won't be deterred. I'm even confused if I should ask for a remark in listening I just tire. LRWS 7.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5.

No, it's not. Evaluating your highest qualification will give you the max score.

House please help clarify
If some1 has evaluated BSC with WES and received ECA and he later wants to evaluate ICAN. How can this be achieved successfully pls?

Will WES now evaluate it separately again or merge it with the BSC earlier evaluated to read 4degree + 3degree?
Pls note : the aim of this evaluation is to boost scores with 2/more certs
Why don't you just evaluate both? It'll cost same anyways.
If you are looking at cost, then you can go ahead to evaluate only the ICAN. All you need do when entering it in your profile is to note the separate reference numbers.
But you need to be sure your ICAN will be positively evaluated. I think 40manlappy's post here describing this stuff emphasized only the newest ICAN syllabus is positively evaluated by WES.

Let me share my IELTS journey with you, at least to motivate you.

First attempt in February
L 8.5
R 8.5
W 6.5
S 7.5
Back then, I knew very little about Skill Transferability factors & Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level per ability. So i decided against going for an EOR. Ended up in the pool with a CRS of 393 in May.
The delay was due to the waiting period for WES to issue my ECA.

Second attempt in August
L 7.5
R 7
W 7
S 7
CRS was below my previous score and I made sure to apply for an EOR for all sections excluding the reading section.
I did this and immediately applied for a third attempt a few weeks later.

Third attempt same August
L 9
R 8
W 7.5
S 7.5
Entered the pool with a CRS of 441.

Still awaiting the outcome on my EOR for the second attempt.

It is so depressing when you wait a while to give IELTS a shot with huge expectations and in the end you slip by a slight margin.
Money wasted still towards a dream...but it's your dream, and to achieve it we should do everything we can.

It's up to you now. If you have the funds and you are confident that you deserved a better score, make an enquiry.
If possible register to retake the test again, prepare diligently while you await the outcome of the EOR.

Thanks for the encouragement. I attempted all questions, although I didn't do well in the diagram section. I am thinking a remark would have been appropriate if I had scored 7.5. But I would consider my options or just go for the 3rd attempt.

Congrats to Kontagious and others that aced their Ielts .
My spouse 6.5,6.0,7.0,7.0
Mine: LRWS 7.5,7,7,8.0
I answered ALL my listening questions.
Do you guys think the listening could be reviewed if I ask for a remark ?
Also ,does my spouse need to rewrite ( he's not the PA)?
Thanks

Sorry guys, I didn’t post the question below clear enough the first time, let me rephrase;

Is it possible for me to help my spouse pick up result(ielts TRF) at British Council office and also for me to help my spouse request a EOR(remark). The result is LRWS-6.0,6.0,7,7. Thanks.

Good day house

Please I need your advice seriously.

Me and my husband Ielts result came out today

Mine -LRWS 8.5,7,7,7.5
Husband- LRWS 9,9,6.5,7. first attempt (7.5,7.6.6.5)

I am apply as PA because of the result, I am not sure of which of his result that I will use because we are thinking of remarking his writing in the latest result.

if I use his latest result, we got 437
if I use the previous one we got 433

But with the current draw, 437 is safer.

My question is that should we use the 433 and apply for remark or 437?

The second Part is that I don't have upto 3years experience.

Now we are thinking of claiming 3years saying that I started teaching when I was schooling, is that advisable?

Please I need your advice please..

will they confirm from where I work by coming or calling?

thanks
please your advice na

For those that are still preparing for the IELTS or want to retake the exam, note that it is not only British council that is handling the exam in Nigeria.
FYI, IELTS is own by IDP Education, British Council and Cambridge English Language Assessment. So you can also take your IELTS exam in IDP center in NIgeria (MOD Education Lagos, Nigeria). You can read more on:

https://www.ielts.org/book-a-test/find-a-test-location/location-list/nigeria/tv

https://my.ieltsessentials.com/Candidate/Booking/Wizard?countryId=151&testCentreId=15693&testCentreLocationId=1438&testCentreLocationIds=1438&testVenueId=0&restrictToSpecifiedDate=False&restrictLocations=False&isSelt=False

Hope this helps.

Considering going through this route, just to confirm, please will using IDP give same target scores with IELTS 8777 in lrws? Thanks
