Op na 6 triangles without touching each other

As everybody just d comment d go, how we go take know the real answer?

The shape is made up of made up of only 6 triangles
Though without logic you might see 12 but logically

A triangle is 3 sided. it is also plane, i.e it doesn't have another shape in it; no fill, but flat

...so the answer is 12

12 triangles make up that shape.

If you were to calculate the area of the shape, it would be the area of all the triangles that make up the shape added together; you won't have to consider the bigger triangles housing them or you would have missed the answer.

The number is 32...not even intelligent sef.
