A court in Maiduguri, Borno state has remanded some internally displaced persons(IDPs) in prison custody. Spokesman of the Borno state police command, Isuku Victor made this known to newsmen on Tuesday. This development is coming after the IDPs under the aegis of the Bama Initiative for Human development(BIHD) and the ALL Bama youths Development Association(ABYD) protested over the poor conditions of the camp. The protesters demanded that the government should permit them to return to their communities in Bama. The police, however, arrested some of the protesting IDPs and charged them to court on a two-count “charge of criminal conspiracy and disturbance of peace”. According to Isuku, "Twelve persons under the group Bama Initiative for Human Development and All Bama Youths Development Association were arrested for the offence of criminal conspiracy and inciting disturbances. They have been charged to court and remanded in prison custody till next hearing." http://politicsngr.com/2017/09/26/idps-protesting-poor-conditions-bama-camp-remanded-prison/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44

Paperwhite:It would have been sensible if u said "using propaganda to win war" according to the Art of War by Sun Tzu "If your opponent is of choleric temper, irritate him." boast that they are defeated, and they'll furiously come in droves to disprove that. They won't send their junior officers to lead but their high ranking officers to fight. With that you can tactically ambush them and weaken them slowly. An angry man is a foolish man. Anger them and win them with their foolishness. Claim you've killed their leader after engaging them for like two times and you don't notice him and he'll pop out proving he's not dead. Then you can plan again. just like ur mom saying "junior has eaten, when it's clear that you've not eaten. You'll jump up and say no. it's that reaction your mom want to see not that she's planning to starve you To fight and conquer in all our battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting. So, saying the state is safe while keeping the people in idp camp and saying they are technically defeated is a tactical propaganda to irritate the enemy. USA, UK, USSR all use propaganda to fight war Don't let hate darken your mind to. |
