Why don’t American shipbuilders export to foreign countries? Destroyers, frigates or even corvettes... are they not allowed to huh

Usually too expensive to compete with ships from other exporters.

drdo PINAKA MBRL (multi barrel rocket launcher ) is a 214 mm caliber artillery system

it can fire 3 variants of rockets

1.PINAKA MK1 rockets with range of 37.5 km

2.PINAKA MK2 rockets with range of 60 km

3.GUIDED PINAKA rockets with range of 80 km

ACCURACY

1.PINAKA MK1 - 1.5% of range
2.PINAKA MK2 - 1.5% of range
3.GUIDED PINAKA - 60-80 m at all ranges

WARHEAD - 100 kg for all rocket variants

WARHEAD TYPES - pre-fragment , high explosive , sub munitions , incendiary etc

i liked the way the jackasses used common sense and incremented the capabilities in a step by step manner

anyways a completely new PINAKA MK2 MBRL system is in development with range of 120+ km

one reason they dont export is becz extensive work has to be done to ensure compatibility of sensors ie networking side with non NATO members systems

plus u have to sign CISMOA LEMOA LSA BECA agreements with US government which many countries dont want to.

but American companies make up for the discrepancy by supplying at component level ie maine engines, radars, CMS , weapons , etc

this is very good businesses as it allows for higher profit margins

anyways south korea japan have their destroyers based on american destroyers

EO pod for ISR. Yes that's what I'm talking about. With a top notch capability.

The yabhon 40 is btwn $20-40m (Not per airframe)

lol i am shocked that u want top notch capability at 40k grin
(we too went shopping long time ago, then decided to develop locally )

also as far as i know top notch capability is export restricted

more than 2/3 cost of a UAV is due to the elecronics component

u try Chinese OEMs ?

lol i am kind of sure ur tied up with a chinese company for ur project . maybe i am wrong also grin
Chinese oem. Nope, strictly American and European for any stuff being purchased for the project.
We're doing the parts, fuselage etc here so even those engines /machines are Americans/ European.

Boeing uses ASC autoclave but a reputable Chinese company will be providing that. Guess that's the only thing from the Chinese we will be using.

grin grin I just had no idea on how expensive those will be.

Thanks, I'll check them out. The export restrictions never had issues with it. Talked to the companies directly. I guess everyone wants sales so I just make sure they also handle shipping and everything that comes with it while it's no issue here. They'll be cleared quickly since everything is going smoothly.
