omenka:I clicked on the press release by elbit and I could not find Nigeria nor anything that referred to social media monitoring. Premiumtimes simply did junk journalism in this case and that's why you can't find the news in other major news outlet. Go back and read it again and click the link. You are too old to peddle false information on Nairaland. http://ir.elbitsystems.com/mobile.view?c=61849&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1810121&highlight= |

I don't why Africa and their gov't is like this? instead of concentrating on good governance and providing good social security services for the people, they are their trying to monitor users private account and social media talks. .they forget that even dead people exist on the social media and anyone can create a fake social media account online. .instead of being fair and doing the right things, they are busy hunting people down. .so one's private love talk or gist on the phone will be tap and listen to by one jobless guy sitting on a headphone listening to my love talk all in the name of monitoring hate speech. .me tire for this country self. .God why did you create me a Nigerian? out of the millions of sperm my dad release in my mum's womb, I fight, struggle and manage to win the race nd swim to fertilize the eggs only to cry 'hen, ehnen ' here in nigeria. .n.a. wa! |

Nairaland complies 100%. A friend of mine who is already outside of Nigeria told me in an email yesterday that he believe seun gave out his private information due to his experiences lately, meanwhile, the fellow responded to a lot of the hate speeches against igbos during the python dance. You see? |

All governments, hierarchies, business entities and religions of this world are agents and tools of and for the god of this world. So says the Holy Bible. Guys we are in the end times. You can argue against it. It doesn't matter. Your disagreement is in itself a sign of the end. None of those institutions truly serves the people but their Master, Satan. JESUS is coming soon to establish His own Just and Peaceful Order. He is Lord! |

Chigorkizz:While at that, make sure you get a new phone that has no camera and a new line that you will not disclose the number to anyone. Also make sure anything and everything you do on that phone does not include anything that can be traced to you. |

kettykin:Nigeria didn't leave 300 international bodies, get your facts right. Nnamdi Kanu has fooled nobody except of course the jobless youths agitating for secession. The Government can be gathering the information to protect the people better, intelligence gathering is not a new thing. |

Jobless government. When they should be thinking of how to make life better for the common man on the street. Instead they want to monitor social media users. Them go tire. This what you get when retired military dictator becomes the president under a democratic setting. I have said my mind. Come and arrest me. |
