Its a FG full funding not canadian school. I didn't submit any statement of account. The proof of funding letter and award letter was enough to offset worries on financial matters.

Thank you sir

..before you thank him let me ask you this..

Did the agent included employment details in your first application and are you planning to use the real employment details in your next application?

He can still be your employer but not your sponsor. So there is still nothing here that should be an issue. Fill exactly what you filed in your last application. This is why it is always advisable to be consistent with PROOF especially dealing with immigration issues. If the actually have filed your details in the GCMS database, it will be there for a long time and will be used as reference for other of your applications even when you get pass the study permit. So make sure your info are same, if there are any changes, back it up with proof.

Like i mentioned about the sponsor, there is no issue in using a different sponsor after using another in an earlier application.

You are soiling your reputation here with this questionable advise.

Medical Insurance Coverage: Proof of medical insurance coverage for your stay in Canada This must be received at this office by: 2017/10/29

Are you suggesting that the agent used fake employment details and sponsor without your knowledge?

You gave him your employment details and your daddy as a sponsor but he decided to use a fake one?

jnyuwa02:

The problems with lies is their endless need to cover one lie with another lie till you are caught. He is not his employer, why does he need to continue to say company A is his employer? Do we even know all the information the agent stated about this employer in previous application that could easily be contradicted in second application made by the applicant himself? The right advice is for the guy to come clean and say he is the victim of ineffective assistance. There is grace with VOs for people who claim ineffective or fraudulent assistance by agents. The grace is that the error would be forgiven and the new application would be treated on its own personal merits.
jnyuwa02:

There is a need to come clean first by explaining discrepant information where the applicant works for government parastatal for 6 years, but an agent has stated that he works for a different organization A for five years. Only by coming clean and presenting a bonafide employment and financial status, can he stand a chance. A new application is not treated entirely as new one pretending a previous application was never made. The VO treating a new application will first need to know why a previous application was denied. That is why they make GCMS notes to stand as a focal point of reference.
The issue is changing sponsor. Nobody is encouraging misrepresentation and nobody will. That somebody comes here to make a claim of using an agent shouldn't mean that there was an act of "ineffective assitance" from the agent. We actually don't know how and what the two parties agreed on or did. If a moniker here wants X advise, give a direct X advise and leave it at that. There may be alot we don't know of. The responses were on changing sponsor and with the little i know, there is no issue in changing sponsors irrespective of who his employer is or what CIC has as information. If the applicant feels he misrepresented information, then it's up to him/her to handle it in the best possible way.

So your advise of "Coming clean" by explaining to officers that an agent misled a person is subjective. You don't know if there was anything dirty on the part of the applicant or the agent and as far as the embassy is concerned, such individual used the agent's service at his or her own risk and the applicant would be held responsible since a case of 'use of representative' was not communicated to the embassy. We can't base an advise here in totality on what a person says about another person. I think we should address related issues on the cardinal points of getting a study permit approval and the requirements of a study permit. This is what would matter in the long run.

People should always be truthful while filling their forms. How can someone with solid 6 years of civil service claim another company? It beats my imagination seriously!
Don't allow agents mess up your dreams by giving you fake documents. I have never used an agent before because of their illegal ways of doing things.

It is better he comes clean. He can't continue to use an unknown and non existing company. The agent has even run away and he is left all alone to sort himself out!

At this juncture, he needs to use his true profile but he has to first do a good SOE explaining what the agent did to him.

Mind you, it could earn you a 5 year ban. Yes, it happened to a friend. You could also be forgiven. All the best!

I have to disagree with you there, he did that to himself and should not blame the agent.

It was not done without his knowledge and he is the beneficiary.

Got two even bro. Thesis based. Had 4.2/5 CGPA. MSc Environmental Systems Engineering. Both accepted and one promised funding immediately but the other said after one year. I finally stuck to the former who is the grad Coordinator and now no admission. It is well.

Sometimes It happens without the person's consent. Some of them are just overzealous. I have a friend who is widely traveled but used an agent for a Canadian visa. She submitted hwr documents but the agent added a few more which were not authentic. This happened 2 years ago. She was asked questions on the documents submitted. She replied she didn't include that in her application and also stated she used an agent.

She was informed of the consequences of submitting fake documents either by proxy or otherwise. She got a 5 year ban as a result. She just sticks to the US travels now while serving her ban.

Yes but in this case johnsonm2g knew about the plan to use fraudulent document by the agent.

I think you should mail your supervisor to know what happened and why your application package was denied.

Thank you bro. I have mailed him and he said he knows I am a good student but this year they had many good students that applied. But I believe he got into some stuff with the other supervisor who is a very senior Professor. I believe to make peace, they agreed not to admit me.

Makes perfect sense now. Yes medical insurance coverage if they have one from Nigeria too is fine. Better a Canadian one though. If I were you and I lived in Canada and was inviting my parents over, I'd get them insurance In Canada. Shouldn't be too much hassles.
Thanks my broda. They are going on a visit to my elder brother who is a PR holder. Getting medical insurance for people older than 69 from Canada no be joke ooo. The cheapest that I see for both of them is 4k Canadian dollars.
