I'm sure you will agree with me on the prevalence of one or two of these habits I think its very common in most churches today.

1. Rubbing the face with palm after benediction

It has become a norm in most churches today. After every benediction, the congregation will rub their stretched palm on their face. Some will even rub their head and down to the rest of their body part.

How is the grace of God a body cream or powder?? ...im not understanding

2. Squeezing of offering

In a way of not wanting the other person to know the amount of offering they are about to drop, most christians would fold and squeeze the money in their palm.

Some people are so used to it that even if they came with envelope, they will still fold it.


3.. Opening and closing of eyes

Most people don't even bother about closing their eyes anymore during prayers. Even when the pastor has said it, probably during deliverance or altar call, you still see them looking around.

Most Pastors too don't close their eyes anymore when saying prayers.

4..The Cross sign

Most people have adopted a particular church's habit. Whenever they enter inside a church, you see them touch their head, chest and shoulders. And you won't hear them say anything. Do we have to do all that before we call the name of the father, son and holy spirit?
I want enlightenment.

5. When the pastor says "Praise the lord" ... We are meant to stand up and shout alleluia!
But to some persons, it's the time to stretch and yawn. God is watching you o
