Socialite, Charles Oputa, popularly called Charlyboy, has filed a lawsuit against the FCT Police Command before the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Maitama, Abuja over the harassment and ill-treatment meted out on him and members of his 'OurMumuDonDo' movement as well as Concerned Nigerians, during the resume or resign protests.

PoliticsNGR learnt that Charlyboy is seeking N500 million in Damages from the police.

Where does charlyboy expect police to get 500million in this recession when the Nigeria government have been getting quit notices up and down both home and abroad.

It is just a shame that this govt is operating as if it is still in stone age.

Civil disturbance such as protest is a right in which citizens register their displeasure with the way governance is being carried out.
