I find what limits access to market is the inability to connect with trusted businessmen. I am thinking of starting a group as I have a lot of international contacts. But before I do, I want advice - does something similar already exist?

Ok cool! I'll work on it. My rationale was that there a lot of businessmen that want to do business in Nigeria and vice versa - at the same time,not everyone here can get into say chamber of commerce. We have many (and I have met some) people who are looking for export/import partners.

The same scenario applies to growing businesses in other countries
