The Movement for the Actualization of a Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has described the recent military invasion of the home of Eze Israel Kanu, the father of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu as primitive and cowardly.

The pro-Biafra group in a statement on Monday, October 9, by its national director of information, Samuel Edeson, said Biafran agitators would not be coward by the violent attacks from the Buhari administration on harmless agitators.

It described the attacks on Biafra agitators as an act of ethnic hatred by the Nigeria security forces which it said was dominated manly by persons from the north.

The statement read in part: "MASSOB and other pro-Biafra agitators are not cowed or intimidated by this sheer acts of overzealousness and ethnic hatred of the people of Biafra by Hausa Fulani dominated Nigeria security apparatuses.

“Even in these persecutions, arrests, extrajudicial killings, subjections and detentions of nonviolence, pro-Biafra agitators, we shall continue to maintain our non-violence principles. “MASSOB and other pro-Biafra groups are the political masquerades of Ndigbo.

We shall continue to be the pride of Ndigbo, upholding the vision of Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.” The group advised governors in the southeast region to be sensitive on Biafra issues in order not to fall into what it described as the political trap of President Buhari.

I know one day biafra agitators will pick up arms. It is not IPOB, MASSOB or BZN but a deadly biafra movement. the government should address the issue on ground , call the agitators for a meeting, give them hope about Nigeria good future and prospects. Even though it is clear that Nigeria is not in unity, the average Hausa Fulani man see the igbo man as enemy, the Hausa Fulani man sees the Christian man as an infidel. the division is much and Buhari is cutting the wounds of division everyday with his pattern of leadership.
