I thought it was rather obvious, Xbox lost me during that their nonsense pre-E3 launch talk. DRM this, Kinect that, must connect online at least once a day and the silly rubbish with the preowned discs. Before the great about face. I'm good with my PlayStation.

Hey guys good to be here, planning to order an xbox one console from Amazon U.S next week but want to clear up a few things first.

1. When I purchase it and do the initial update, if power goes out, does it resume when the power comes back on And same with games?? My swift allows me download for free at night want to be sure I can pause and resume if I need longer than a night to set my rig up or download games.

2. Do I have to worry about the ntsc or pal thing?? I plan to order my games or even download online

3. WHat internet speed is suffiecient for online gaming?

i would try my best to answer ur questions to the best of my abilities

1) For updates i doubt it can be paused as the console is unuseable during the update period . and i also wld advice doing updates with a gen on to prevent stories that touch .or better still u can download the update file unto a flash drive and install from the flash drive offline .

as for the games being downloaded, yes u can always resume ur download. i am currently downloading mad max and have being on it for over 2 days now.

3) As for the speed anything over 200kbps wld do fine for online gaming. ur greatest challenge should be latency issues which i suffer when i use smile network to play games like battlefield and call of duty. i now use Glo as their netwrk is better in my area and takes care of the latency issue.

Yes to all what you said. Bought my xbox one s from the US last month and no need for a step down, PAL/NTSC debacle
I use wifi.com.ng and they have unlimited package with download speeds of 16mbs. Tried gaming online with FIFA 18 and was able to play for over 2 hours with little hitches.

Just checked out wifi.com their prices are damn affordable. Will try them out because my swift has really been acting up. Just hope they're worth the hype though
