Buhari is the worse thing that has ever happened to this country. He has mortgaged the country and her citizens on account of irrational/unreasonable loan he cannot account for. What happens to the recoverd looted fund and S26billion. Alot of federal establishments are experiencing incomplete payment of salary (shortfall). Buhari i pray God mobilizes his army to throw u out of power.

I'm not against the loan but I want detailed list of what the loan would be used for to the last kobo so we can monitor it

If they are for capital project which is what it's should be , we want the name of the projects so we can monitor them because funding won't be an issue
Same ol story
U want a detailed list
Even u
Do u not take loans telling the person u want to use it for so so and so yet u used it for something else

Now since this people came in
They ve being taking loans
And ur type always ask for detailed list

Why take a loan now when 2017 budget has already failed hopelessly and woefully? Unless of course there is more to it than meets the eye ......

Why are we taking all these loans anyway

Between April 2014 (when oil prices started falling) and April 2016, we lost $100 billion in potential earnings.

Let me repeat myself....we lost $100 billion in potential earnings ,because oil dropped from $120 to $29 in two years.

2.Because of the fall in oil price, we had to restrict dollar spending (or by now, we would be paying N2000 for $1). That led to more dollar flight out of the country and as a result....loss in earnings.

3.Nigeria needs oil to be at $123 to meet basic needs. (Oil is at $50 now). Saudi Arabia needs oil at $77, and Russia needs it at $99. I

4.As a result we need to take loans to keep things running., Without the loans...we would be in even deeper problems. Like...salaries won't have been paid for a year or something.

5.There is only one way out of this in the short term....oil goes above $123 per barrel...AND EVEN THEN...we have to pay back the loans we took in the past.

6.If you want a permanent long term solution...this means taking loans to fix power and education...and removing subsidies...which means us paying N200 for one liter of fuel and N30000 per month in light bills. We will suffer more than this for some years. But once we become an exporting manufacutred goods nation as a result...then we can really enjoy the fruits of our labour.
Just imagine this Stuuupid stuuupid stuuupid logic. undecided

So if oil doesn't ever sell for $123 a barrel again , then no more economy, No more country? huh

Stuuupid people get stuuupid leaders.

By the way, how much do you get paid to write stuuupid shit like this ? undecided

You did not read my final point sir.

Anyway, my main issue was to explain why we take loans....so that we can have a view of the problem, and the solution becomes much easier.

And it is immature to insult people you disagree with. I did not insult you, yet you decided to insult me. Make your point maturedly .

Good evening.

There is nothing to agree or disagree with in your post.
It didn't qualify at all for any of the above.

My knee- jerk reaction was for the sheer shallowness and warped logic.
In fact, my response was like an automatic self- defense reaction to someone trying to assault my common sense.

U CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING....
History Being Repeated? . In 1983: . $1 = N 1 £1 = N2 Volkswagen Beetle = N1,400 Foods were in abundance Kids were in school Businesses were booming with vibrant economy and people were gainfully employed. No illegal arrest or media trial. Rule of law was maintained. . On 31 December, 1983, he and his criminal gang struck with the excuse of tackling widespread corruption and within few months, . $1 = N15 £1 = N40 Volkswagen Beetle = N8, 000 Kids dropped out of school because their parents couldn't afford their school fees anymore. Businesses closed down. Foods were rationed as people queued up for essential commodities. Many Nigerians lost their jobs because the economy collapsed. Innocent Nigerians were arrested for free speech and human rights violated with impunity. The Constitution was suspended. . He blamed Alh. Shagari's govt for this mess. He blamed corruption, yet he jailed Dr. Alex Ekwueme (the Vice President) but left Shagari (the president) in his palace. . But when another gang threw him out, and within few months, Nigerians started smiling again. Our kids returned to school, food was in abundance again, Nigerians got their jobs back and the economy was revived etc. . In 2015: . $1 = N175-190 £1 = N289-320 Cars were affordable with local manufacturers smiling to the bank. Food was in abundance (at least a bag of rice was N7, 000) Kids were in school Businesses were booming with vibrant economy, no illegal arrest or media trial. . On 29 May, 2015 when he was 'jega-ed' into power: . $1 = N315-510 £1 = N550-610 Local car manufactures shut down their plants due to harsh economic condition. Famine was unleashed on Nigerians and a bag of rice rose to N22, 000/27, 000 while minimum wage remains N18, 000. Kids dropped out of school. Businesses closed down, millions lost their jobs and inflation is in double digits.
Just like in 1985, he's blaming corruption and his predecessor for the same mess he created within few months of assumption of office. "YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING."

1. We are using recovered looted funds to finance 2017 budget

2. Diezani has returned $90b in cash and $30b worth of properties

3. N3.4TRN has been recovered from TSA

4. Buhari writes Senate, seeks approval to borrow $5.5b to finance 2017 budget in 'October 2017'

The foolishness of Buhari's supporter is that of Mr Ibu, Dede One Day, Okon Lagos and Saka combined.
