Please help me tell them. Even, the Biafra they wanted to form is different from Ojukwu's Biafra. They would not have had access to the sea as they wanted to pull out only South East.

The point is that Nnamdi Kanu calling Nigeria a zoo was an insult. Even if Nigeria let the South East secede, it would then become a landlocked country.

I know you would say Switzerland is also landlocked. But a Biafra made up of the South East would not just be landlocked, but also an enclave. That is, it would be surrounded completely by just one country. In this case the Nigeria IPOB people love to call a zoo. South East Igbos would be forced to pass through the so called zoo to trade.

They would depend on a customs union with this same country they call a zoo for every toothpick imported or exported. The import and export duties paid to Nigeria alone would be enough punishment, as Nigeria would be merciless with those duties.

Besides, a Biafra of the South East would be a very selfish idea because it would mean abandoning the Igbos of the South South.
