Hi all. To all RSUST students, please I want to know if they offer medical laboratory science. Done some research though and found out its a provisional course. Please what does that mean?

It means their accreditation is temporary to offer MLS.

Accreditation lasts for a couple of years(either full or provisoinal).You can study MLS there if motions are on ground to obtain full accreditation.Just know that a university with full accreditation may lose it during the next accreditation.so its just matter of the school and the department in particular to make sure they don't lose it so they would be able to graduate their students.follow this link to get more information.http://www.mlscn.gov.ng/?page_id=69

thanks. So do you think it is okay to study mls in a school with provisional admission? And how will I know how long the school is allowed to offer such course?

You can study MLS in a school with provisional accreditation.Try and find out from the department directly or through students of the department about their current status with NUC&MLSCN.Most information online are outdated.
