This isn't my first time of raising broilers, but I want to share my experience with others. My day old chicks arrived on 12th September 2017. My target is Xmas sales

When brooding DOCs. you are more like a nursing mother/Father. I used kerosene stove to achieve good warmth condition.
The cage was also well covered.
The first day I only put multivitamin in their water.
as I removed each from the carton, I dipped its beak into the water. and normally it will start drinking water.
I made sure that feed is always available.
I provided light so that they can eat at nights. I used electric bulb and rechargeable lamp when there is no power supply.

Lasota vaccine

I have not been taken care to know the number of male. but seems not up to 80%, but they are more.
They don't have cough.

Its a little bit difficult for me to give you the accurate cost of the cage. its 11 x 6feet. it has two floors. each floor has two partitions. The roof and poo collector are used roofing sheet.
however it should cost between 60 to 80k. I paid the carpenter 6k
