- Lionel Messi has reportedly revealed that he wants to play against Nigeria in the 2018 World Cup - The Barcelona star was superb as he scored a hat-trick which helped Argentina beat Ecuador to qualify for the Russia 2018 fiesta - Nigeria and Argentina have both qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has reportedly picked a match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria as one of his favorites in the 2018 World Cup. Messi did not say he wants to play Nigeria, he said the best matches he played for Argentina apart from the Ecuador one that he scored 3 goals was the two Games against Nigeria.
