Ojukwu had genuine reasons for secession. During his interview with the BBC which in exile in Zambia. He quoted , "Why even the British who came with thier shining example of democracy failed to see the injustice being perpetrated". We were colonised by the Europeans , they came here for business strictly.

Seun:
Fellow Nairalanders,

Nairaland loves Igbos and Niger Deltans very much. The thought of being separated from them for any reason is unbearable to us, so we have decided that we will reject any attempt by anyone to use Nairaland to promote the idea of removing Igbos and Niger Deltans from Nigeria.

We have updated rule 9 of Nairaland to reflect this decision. It now says:

I'd like to urge all Nairaland members to respect and obey rule 9. Mynd44 is in charge of enforcing it. If you break this rule, you'll be banned.

Thanks,
Seun (Founder Of Nairaland).

Is this real
I don't understand why other tribes want to keep the Igbos in Nigeria anyway. What will happen if the Igbos left?
Like this girl says, [youtube]

If Nigerians are for one Nigeria then Nigeria can work. Especially those politicians who steel.
Right now, Nigeria as it is doesn't work.

Got it. So Igbo and non western and non-European christians should see that any attempt by these westerns and israelis to "help" is sham

All Nigerians regardless of tribes/religions are suffering, stop making it look like its only Igbos that are suffering.

EmoBoy:
1. You Nigerians complain and agree that the country is not united but are opposed to people who are agitating to form a country free from these problems
2. Like Sweetguy25 said in his thread, Yoruba and hausa are the only two tribes enjoying this scam called Nigeria. Igbos and their sisters in the Nigerian Delta don't gain anything by being Nigerians. The only reason Yoruba are happy being Nigerians is because the development of Nigeria is taking place in their region.
3. Nigeria does Not love the Igbos and Niger Deltans. Please remove that statement from. The Riverine environment of the Niger Delta has been destroyed from oil activities that bankrolls the country. Yoruba and Hausa don't care.

Thanks for this Mr Oluwaseun Osewa. We need to separate partisan politics from our social media promotions and what we stand for as Nairalanders. Any group has right to express their opinion, but caution must be taken in the approach and examining the why, how plus who is the target in order to avoid hitting up the polity.

Rules the pivotal tool to restrain evil and madness yet also a leash to suppress truth. I believe in the truisim that would free minds to clarity as a collective group to develop, expand and succeed with little or no trembling and ache of corruption, manipulation, division, conspiracy and ignorance.
Biafra is an idea, a vision that offers believers of a better part to welfare and referendum which is opposed to the nightmare called the Nigerian dream.
Seun in the next 10 years considering the bickering and clash of interests is there really hope.
so allow the widow to cry, its her right.
your action is secluded to ur perspective and uncalled for, promising the living and the dead who have suffered under this illusion called governance.

Seun,
Very very very wrong. People have a right to agitate for what they consider to be their rights. Your arbitrary decision to muzzle this right is to say the least stunning. I'm non Igbo but I believe that if the Yoruba and Hausa look down on the Igbos then they might as well let them go. Unless you have received email from DSS then you must share with us so we know who to hold responsible if nairaland goes down or you disappear

iv always told ppl that this forums are for gossips
politically issues should be handled in a proper jonals....
u love us in Niger Delta and we can't air our views once it's not related to comedy....
guy learn from platforms worldwide....all u should stop bending things to suit your sentiments
nobody in its sane mind is happy about the dilapidated situation in Naija.....so drop that DSs cheap threats and allow ppl to say their mind

one day u would adjust rule 10 to ask us to support arsen Wenger for his adamant nature

remain neutral mr Seun
nobody is dragging this forum with you
