I have children in nursery / primary school. Once my son came back with evidence of immunization at school. I had to warn school management not to administer any vaccination to him again. This happened more than two years ago. I personally vaccinate my children in the hospital or health centers. They have cards and schedules. Most people of Southern extraction inoculate their children same way. Refusal of Military immunization is not illiteracy. It's even more dangerous now we can't trust the President and his military. |

Yeah the military had a fault for not creating awareness before the exercise otherwise there is nothing wrong with the government distributing vaccines to curb the spread of the virus |

deomelo:Thrash Mental ![]() ogogoro rants ![]() Tamass:what virus Op, so its now not illiteracy,huh...buh it was illiteracy when the Igbos rejected the demonic scheme @ the onset. |

The fact that you are rejecting vaccination that was never offered, was never given and that you can not even prove with facts was given to school children is still a reflection of your collective, societal and communal illiteracy ignorance, stupidity and illiteracy. |

The vaccination program is not mandatory, nobody was forcing anyone to be vaccinated. It is pure, undiluted ignorance to conclude it was meant to harm people and therefore create a mass hysteria around it. |

The gallant Nigerian Army is now seen as the real terror. This is what you get when you use the military to intimidate people instead of fighting wars |
| Re: Refusal Of Military Immunization Not Illiteracy by Nobody: 3:37pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
I will never inoculate/vaccinate any of my kids, even if God comes down from heaven to personally administer the vaccine, not to talk of the riff raff, known as the Nigerian Army. Deal with them at your own peril. |

I guess the whole South and M/belt are illiterates, cos when the SE rejected the immunization exercise they were called names by some unruly fellows, wonder what they would say now. |

kmcutez:God obviously will not come down to inoculate your kids. Running helter-skelter around town trying to rescue your child from a non existent threat is within your rights. |

tamass which virus are you talking about, just so you know monkey pox does not have a Vaccine or a cure yet. so if you like tell the community leaders, if I'm not there my kids won't take any Vaccine because I need to be there, and ask a lot of questions, secondly by the age of five all every one has been vaccinated so which vaccine are you giving again to secondary School children. |

deomelo:Dumb comment, do you know why...? Listing to the op "I personally vaccinate my children in the hospital or health centers. They have cards and schedules". Even my own children have cards and schedules besides, we were warned not to vaccinate them any other place or before their schedule dates as this may cause grave danger to their healths. Just imagine vaccinating your child today only for him to go to school tomorrow and get vaccinated again by the soldiers who doesn't know his health records. |

Greenback:Wasn't it in an effort to curb the monkey pox virus...although the military has refuted claim of carrying such exercise..i guess it was all rumours generated by some unscruplous elements |
| Re: Refusal Of Military Immunization Not Illiteracy by Tamass: 3:57pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
PointZerom:I get your point very well and thats so uncalled for but the military claimed they never engaged in the exercise |
| Re: Refusal Of Military Immunization Not Illiteracy by Tamass: 4:16pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
MyNewJackeT:Thanks for the heads up..i thought it was carried out due to the outbreak of the virus in bayelsa. Although the military has refuted claims of engaging in such exercise . |

Guestlander:Don't have kids, but I don't think it is a non existent threat. Do you have any idea what the vaccine is for? |
| Re: Refusal Of Military Immunization Not Illiteracy by PointZerom: 5:22pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
Tamass:Do you still believe your military that claimed they never invade Nnamdi Kanu's home?. |
| Re: Refusal Of Military Immunization Not Illiteracy by mesoprogress(op): 5:44pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
deomelo:Seems you can't comprehend a simple post. I have vaccination schedule for my kids, including ones not covered for free. I wonder the extra vaccination they would give my kids at school? School general immunization is meant for illiterate communities. I can't just allow any immunization on my children when I already have a schedule covering needed vaccinations |

Military vaccination and their so called Medical outreach is useless. |

| Re: Refusal Of Military Immunization Not Illiteracy by mesoprogress(op): 6:17pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
Tamass:They know the atmosphere is tense, what are they moving from school to school to do? No matter how noble their intentions are, it is a very wrong timing. In the US, they helped hurricane victims. Military can help in flooded homes here in Port Harcourt, clear blocked drainage etc. People will appreciate that more |

Anyone that supports military vaccination is a stack illiterate. What are the health workers meant for? Is it their job to immunize? There are unconfirmed reports of deaths in a few persons already immunized. This is the main reason for the rejection. Besides, it should be done in conjunction with local health workers. |
