The Police in Katsina have arrested one Abdullahi Sani of Jabiri area, for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl to death.

The police spokesman in the state, DSP Gambo Isah, in a statement on Monday, said Sani was arrested on October, 12. Sani allegedly lured the toddler to an uncompleted building and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

The little girl was said to have sustained serious injuries from the act and was rushed to Funtua General hospital where she died the following day. Sani was said to have confessed to the crime.

Is it only Fulani people that defile children? Newsflash! There are pedophiles everywhere in the world. Just that here on this country, they are handled with kids gloves. I read a lenghty rather heartbreaking article about how rapists and pedophiles hardly every go to trial. Most times, they bribe their way out and continue walking freely. This year, a school Proprietress' son defiled a five year old in a southern state (witheld), so bad that the girl bled for weeks and faints from the bleeding. He was arrested but was later released. He was even mocking the poor girl's parents that they should have collected the hush money his parents offered, now he's free and there's nothing they can do. Fortunately his release sparked outrage in the community and he was re-arrested before he could escape.

Let's stop tribalizing crime, evil knows no race, gender, tribe or religion.
