Sadly, people don't read anymore. Majority of people who commented, don't know that it's not an auto-tracking. The person you wanna track has to consent to it.

Once a user consents to this he has given up his right to privacy...

People need to be careful of these features that track movement cos it makes one vulnerable to stalkers

You're right about the Facebook number. A friend had same issues. She deleted her number on her profile, and it kept reappearing. She had to shut down her Facebook account.
I've learnt never to trust these people. So I do my best not to sync most of my social media profiles.
They keep forcing their so called development down our throats. Knowingly/Unknowingly we consent to some things.
