A portion of the old traditions we still hang on to. Traditions are a part of the reasons why we can still call Africa and our indeginous lands "home".
Not the western infested cultures in the name of church and civilization

Nothing like traditions!

Itsekiris just produced Uduaghan as governor, it may be a long time before it goes round again.

lolz....no be only prime minister of warri. Even you typing knows that he can't influence anything after Hausa quarters down to effurun or udu or even eneren. Listen, if u know history u will understand why that king is not really as strong and important as his counterpart (the likes of sultan and oba) because the itsekiri clan is not big, if he was truly overseeing the whole tribes in warri then he should have more say than this.

Know what it means to be king of the whole warri?? His say should be massive but no its not cos if him try am reach common iyara na crises him dey find.

So let's not insult ourselves, just tell yourself the truth. Wait, what is prime minister sef?? Lolz na wa.

Hahaha! This is a first! Altering the original comments to suit your argument.
If you are indeed Itsekiri and you support this nonsense, you should hide your head in shame. Direct your anger on your Olu who has chosen a rascal and thug as prime minister. What a letdown... What a disgrace to the entire history of a people.
If your ancestors had been this unwise, would the Itsekiri kingdom ever have risen to prominence ?
Stop lying to yourself and kiss the truth: this is a major fk-up

Congratulations are in order for Nigerian billionaire; Chief Ayiri Emami who conferred the title of Ologbotsere (Prime Minister) of Warri Kingdom by the Olu of Warri, HRM Ogiame Ikenwoli. The business mogul, Ayirimi Emami completed his traditional rites before he was conferred with the prestigious title.

The Olu of Warri installed Iyatsere and Uwangue along with the Ologbotsere (Ayiri Emami) at his palace in the presence of other high chiefs.

I'm just laughing at you all on this thread. If not for the magnanimity of the Itsekiris and the ugly fact that they are not many, most of you will not be saying trash like "they don't own Warri". Itsekiri had Warri as a whole in their palms during the early days, if they were as many as the Yorubas or Igbos, they would have quickly dominated the Warri some of you are arguing about. The most painful fact on this thread is that all Urhobos and Igbos posting here are not even from Warri at all, they are from Agbor, Jesse, Oghara, Abraka and other crude Urhobo towns. Only about 3% of Urhobos come from Warri South LGA and you won't find them online making noise. In case you don't know, over 95% of Itsekiris come from Warri prior to splitting of Warri into three LGA. So get your facts right, Urhobos are minority in Warri as a whole.

Long live Itsekiri
Long live Olu
God bless Nigeria

from your episode u wrote here, there is a particular(minute) place u call warri. And that place was shared into 3local government. If that's what u refer to, then u re right istekiri dominates on those but we all know warri of today goes far beyond those small three local government. Hence u can't say istekiri dominates warri.

I believe u understand

My friend, don't treat me like a kid. Urhobos only exist in Warri South as far as the three WARRI LGA is concerned. Itsekiris exist in the three WARRI LGAs, so stop counting UDU, Uvwie and those neighbouring Urhobo LGA as part of Warri. This is how you create problems for your future generations. Stick with your LGA man. If I'm to ask each and everyone of you going against the Itsekiris on this thread to tell me your LGA, Nairalanders will be amazed to find out that you all are from faraway Ethiopie East or West and just being hateful on the Itsekiris for no reason.
