My ds has been on exclusive breastfeeding even though I resumed back to work 2weeks ago. I found out that he finished up the milk I left for him @home yesterday (600mls) and they had to back him when it finished for him not to cry till I got home. My production level is also reducing (370mls yesterday)
I am considering adding formula atleast one or two feed per day.
Please I need advice on how to go about it. What quantity should we make for him now?
N. B- he weighed 7.4kg@14 weeks. Bright weight was 5.04kg.

The measurement for the formula by age is usually written on the pack. Since he needed one more feed before you came home, then maybe you should start by introducing a bottle of formula as the last feed before u get home. My baby only sucks straight from breast so I can't say how much milk she takes in a day.

I just couldn't help but laugh at this post! When benigna mentioned you for any agbo remedy for eela I said to myself wait for it! Queensnow will definitely have some weird combo agbo for this and I was pleasantly amused to see PEPPER SOUP INGREDIENTS MIXED WITH OIL abeg no vex o I'm just a fan of your agbo wisdom. Lolz

After picking some, wash well and squeeze the juice in a cup, put in a tea spoon and feed lo then make paste with the squeezed leaves and put in the spots...

If can't feed lo u might just apply it externally...Wishing little one well

Its been long I thought of formula scoops but if my memory is correct 180 mls(5-6 scoops) should be ideal for a 4month old.

Let him be fed every 2 hours for bm and 3hours for formula.

I quite agree with you about the sugar intake. When i learnt about it at first,i didnt take anything that has sugar(with my first son)for 3months+ and my son never had d eela. I did same with my second son 3months+,no eela. Inshort im so used to not too sugary things now. It was not easy at that time but i made up my mind.

So mabe she should reduce or betterstill cut off sugars...

I used nan for my baby and he ate 150 mls at that age per meal of both expressed BM and formula every 2-3 hours

Calculate that based on how many hours you're typically gone for and always leave an extra feed in case
