There is a vacancy for a suitable candidate to work at a leading investment firm in Europe. Only candidates meeting the below requirements should send CVs

1. At least 1-year experience working for a bank, asset manager or other finance institutions
2. Strong research skills
3. PhD in Mathematical Finance/Economics, Actuarial Science, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Engineering or other very technical fields
4. Willing to relocate to Europe or Asia

Option 3 is nonnegotiable. However, persons with MSc in the same fields + at least 4 years experience doing only quantitative work in finance and or economics etc can try their luck. Anything is possible in the interviews.

If you know someone fit, have them send in their CVs. If they get the job, you will earn 50 Euros at whatever exchange rate you wish to use between now and the time they get the job. If two people from you get the job, the commission jumps to 150 Euros.

First time I will conclude that some people here on Nairaland don't think. I hope you see this..

But why now, critical thinking skills are taught at Nigerian universities. I remember doing logic. Did you avoid that course? They call it philosophy and logic. Did you dodge this course?

Does it make sense to hire a family member for a role they are not currently qualified for? Or do you belong to the typical class of Nigerians that put their primary six family holders in a position that is supposed to be occupied by PhD holders?

If you know someone that meets them, even if not fully, link them to us. There is a commission as stated.

I already sent in about 15CVs but I'm happy to send more. The total number of people needed is 3. You can share the info. In case you need more info, I know we all like to hear figures, total compensation is 95K Euros..But as the pay is okay, hiring manager is a bit picky. I can't influence with that. I wish I could. Can only send in CVs.

Bro, how can you just begin to insult me, my father and my generation without even having an idea that you're talking to a fellow human being like you. Are things that bad? Please take it easy. Whatever you're working hard for will come. You don't have to suspect people for no reason. Some of us are motivated by a desire to help other people. I know this is hard to believe, but some people, some Nigerians still do this without expecting anything in return. I belong to that set of people and nothing will make me ashamed.

It's unfortunate you believe anything big is scam. It's not. Normally I should return fire for fire or invite at least 3 people here on Nairaland, old time nairalanders even before you joined who have benefitted from the blessings of God through me, but I won't do that. That would be stupid. I have nothing to prove to anybody, not even to you. I don't even know you. I gave sound responses to your allegation and invited you to counter my submissions, you couldn't do that. Instead, you decided to throw insults. That's not a hallmark of a witty Nigerian.

You also sound very arrogant. It does not pay. We have been there, done that and it burnt our fingers. If you're self-employed and things are working for you, praise God..But you don't have a near idea about some of the people that post on nairaland. Why insult? It does not pay. Self-control is key if you're to go far in life. You've not started yet. If you have not started, I challenge you to start helping fellow nairalanders in any ways you can, with your resources, expertise, and talents. You say you're self-employed, I challenge you to start hiring nairalanders as some of us are already doing.
