Before I met Him, I was in a bad condition,
Suffering from low self-esteem and lack of vision.
You could even say I was my family's black sheep,
The kind of child who caused his parents to lack sleep.

Laziness, foolishness, lust, just name it,
I had a bad temper and could not tame it,
I could lie to the point where even I believed it,
If there was a lying award, I would have received it.

At that time, I had the wrong friends,
These people had me following the wrong trends
Soon, I became addicted to watching 'blue films',
Which led to unholy soul ties coming through dreams.

Sometimes I felt bad but couldn't help myself,
Even after I decided to change step by step.
For every step forward, I took two steps back
Everything about my life totally went black.

Now I know that back then I was a lame fool,
I loved pleasure and I loved the fame too,
Spiritually, Zaccheus and I were from the same school
And just like him, one day my cup became full.

I went for a church program somewhere in Warri,
Fire came down and Satan left in a hurry,
That glorious day in September 2007,
I became Anthony Christ, citizen of heaven.

Now I'm saved, righteous and sanctified,
Because the debt of my sins has been satisfied.
Thank you Father for your mercy and favour,
All glory to Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour.

Are you out there, still living life without Christ?
Don't you know you are like a watchman without eyes?
Or like a footballer without feet,
And like a pregnant woman without spit?

Why not open up quickly and let Him walk in?
He is the Life, the fulfilment you have been sweating for,
