Bro, no matter the orientation for drug abuse, ppl won't stop the abuse cos they see it as a getaway bus from their misery. What ppl need is job opportunities; to be able to cater for themselves and their families...
Imagine, waking up in the morning, broke as hell, no work, no electricity, no internet, no adequate meal.. All you'll be thinking of is finding something strong to take you out of your conscious environment.

Government, pls provide job for our youth.

if that be the case then almost Nigeria would have been substance abuser. if you check statistic those from wealthy family and well to do are the once involving in the activity. because me that have not seen food to eat will then take the little I have to buy drugs, I don't see it happening

Yes average Nigerian youth are drug abusers, only if you don't consider Mary Jane, tramadol, refnor, codeine as drugs. There are a lot of cheap drugs out there which are prevalent in this era of idleness.

Give them something important to do with their life and see them change for good. Until then....

Kind of happiness in me was when I was looking like a zombie, smiling every time with no one sharing me a joke. Life was a mess and you just seems happy when you have something in your system. I ain't trying to indulge youth in doing this, but believe me when I tell you that most ppl know the disadvantages of all these pain killers. But when you're down with no hope of things getting better, you just won't care.

Now that I'm in a better place (aussie) I wasn't saved by any orientation but by going for shifts after shifts, getting paid.

I only used myself as a case study.

I wish my brothers n sisters back home have the same opportunities.

I ain't arguing with you. Youve got a vital point. I just want you to feel the reality and to explain to you that most ppl know the negative sides but the reality ain't appealing for them to reason towards the side effects.
