Where will you be when history will be made in Anambra on the 18th, where the people decide that enough is enough, and decide to sit at home, because at the end it's the same thing, PDP APGA etc are just names used to deceive us they are all the same people.

for the first time in Nigeria, power belongs to the people. and the people will use it wisely by not coming out to vote.

when history is written that the people of anambra resisted will you be proud enough to tell your children that you all did it, or will you sell your destiny for another four years.

your brothers are watching, the outside world is watching, even your enemies are watching and waiting, they postponed everything because they want to see the outcome of this election.

Will Anambra create that ripple effect that will cause a change in the system and make the politicians realize that they can't keep playing the anambra people anymore.

this election boycott is not about party, it's about your destiny and those looking up to you.

Take a look at the politicians, they aren't fighting for you, they are fighting for themselves, it's all about them not you.

We need to wake this politicians up from their sleep. there will be no other time like this again.

Anambra this is the time to lead, and if you do we will follow, but if you don't, then you would have missed this opportunity to make History for all those home and abroad and for all the people of the former Eastern region of this country.

send that message to the world for us and for our children's children.

sitting at home will not solve the problem rather it will worsen the situation on ground, this was what happen in 2015 election we are regretting today. let's not vote because we are given a peanut, instead let's go for the one we know that can do the job, and we should avoid APC like someone with Ebola

one thing you don't understand, this politicians are close friends, they meet at functions, they party together, they are the same people, all those APC, PDP and APGA tag you're giving to them is something that is meant to block and disunite us, these are people we know.
entering that office won't change the way things are right now.

it is only our boycott that can bring that change.
boycotting the election will make whoever sits there illegitimate.

and will send a message to other governors that it's not business as usual. the person sitting there wont sit easy on that chair.

the people coming to observe the election will know election did not happen, people abroad will commend us, when I say People abroad, I mean our brothers and sisters in diaspora because they are also monitoring it.

let's take Rochas for example, he was in APGA and later he changed to APC what would he had done differently if he was still in APGA. it's the same thing. did he change to APC because the majority of people who voted for him were APC? No. he did that for himself not for the people.

the ideology does not change, the wasteful spending doesn't change, they are the same people,

but come November 18th We the people will shock them on that day.

when you hear 400, 200, 1000 people decamped to another party, are those people doing it for the people or are they doing it for what they stand to gain from joining the party.

we the voters what do we stand to gain.
No good governance for compensate us.

This call for election boycott is the greatest foolishness is the history of Nigerian politics

Tony Nwoye and his APC people will come out and vote on Election Day, I will guarantee you that!

So the only thing this IPOb boycott call will achieve is an APC government of which if that happens Buhari has ultimately won!

Anambra and Igbos should show up to the polls proudly and vote!

let's be serious, how has buhari won?
what would Tony nwonye do differently that obiano hasn't done, APC, PDP, APGA are just names used to deceive us, the allocation doesn't change. the suffering will still continue.

this is a little effort for something greater. don't be deceived by the crowd following Tony nwonye.

boycotting this election is the only message that we have, what if obiano wins and joins APC like Okorocha who then wins.

what would he joining APC or any other abbreviation change

What is the difference between the various politcal parties in Nigeria? The differences are clear! They are definitely different just as 12 is different from a dozen, the exact same difference between 6 ans half a dozen, that is what nigerians do not understand. I have seen that picture of Obiano courting Buhari like his life depends on Buhari, so isn't is as if APC were ruling? To me it is.

It's amuses when some individuals believe things will ever change for good in this failed system called a country.
Who is going to be agent of that change? These crop of polithifians you have here that have been rotating leadership?
Ask your granny at home if things have ever gotten better since the first time he/she drew breath in this country.
Kiss the bitter truth, the only way forward is for everyone to go their separate ways and fix their land.
This contraption called a country is never meant to be and can never be ONE or PROGRESS.

If APC emerge in Anambra state is victory for Buhari ahead of 2019 election. The implication of this should not be lost on anyone who knows anything about Nigerian politics

Secondly how does boycotting Anambra election help IPOB, Igbo, referendum or Biafra. Let's say for argument sake 100% of Igbos refuse to vote, Buhari will successfully declare a state of emergency in Anambra State and backed by the law. The new administrator he will appoint may not even be Igbo let alone Anambra. This is again another victory for Buhari. I don't see how this translates to any form of imaginary freedom.

All you lot in IPOb, I admire your courage for standing up for what you believe in. But the fact that you have this courage does not translate to monopoly of wisdom. Don't confuse these 2 issues.

IPOB needs to transform into a political movement and try to achieve its aim through a democratic process while accepting incremental progress where possible. This is how to shape the struggle.

If you are not going to transform into a political movement and pursue your aim through a democratic means then you might as well better start developing your own nuclear bombs because then if you give ultimatums people will listen, at this moment you are neither here nor there. You don't have a means to wage a warfare and yet won't pursue this in a wise and strategic way that is peaceful and enduring while building coalitions even outside Igboland; you are setting yourself up for defeat my dear.

Sorry to bust your bubble the call for election boycott is meaningless and pointless and is a strategic own goal!

There is a saying in Igboland that what an elder sees sitting down a child does not see standing up. Listen more to Nnia Nwodo the head of Ohaneze Ndigbo. You will learn one or two things. Insulting elders who advise you or insulting all who disagree with you is not the way to win a struggle.

then, is that not stupidness on the patt of the politcians? Thats to buttress what the op was saying; they are affter their pocket(selfishness).
Why would one import foreigners to vote in another state, if not for selfishness

There would be nothing like state of emergency. The speaker of the state house of Assembly is still there.
After Anambra, 2019 boycott will follow. Lets see what will happen.

There are many ways to acheive a purpose in life,

The speaker can only hold forth for 3 months after which election must take place

What will you do boycott another election?

Are you aware that a bill needs to be passed in the NASS for the Nigerian government to legitimately grant a referendum?

Some people don't understand the implication of what they are saying

There is enough ground within the constitution for the President to legitimately declare a state of emergency in Anambra state if election does not hold

But the bad news is election will hold anyway and if majority of Anambra does not come out and vote the vested interest will rig and APC will win!

So Anambra should go and vote, that's the correct thing to do!

I've tried to show in this thread that the APGA or PDP winning the election doesn't change a thing. The people of Anambra will be sending a message to show all this corrupt politicians that they need to sit up and put the people first before their selfish interest.

It is very insensitive of you to say that Obiano knows where Nnamdi kanu is. We were all here and witnessed the invasion of the military at his residence. What has Obiano got to do with a federal government action.
