You are rather right. This why I was surprised. I thought others knew about it, but the claim seems to be a myth created by some Rastafarians or Christian Ethiopians.

but u know 4 every Rumor's dere is a little bit of truth in it, d Ethiopians have a long relationship with isreal way back to d time or David,till d time of Jesus,between dose period dey communicate with each other they understand each other language, only heaven's know what language dey use.

Yeah, but some are saying it's Amharic. Aramaic or Hebrew seems true while Amharic seems myth.

It's myth, because Amharic didn't seems to exist around Jesus time. I know the history of Amharic language. Sorry for creating useless topic.
