The future is certainly bright for England as Young lions win U-17 to add to the U-20 won in June.

A Phil Foden brace in the second half helped complete a spectacular comeback as England beat Spain 5-2 in the Under-17 World Cup final at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

A first-half brace from Sergio Gomez had Spain on their way before semifinal hero Rhian Brewster pulled one back to send England to the dressing room down 2-1.

England found their equaliser in the 58th minute when Morgan Gibbs-White poked home from close range from a Steven Sessegnon assist to set up Foden's dramatic winner in the 69th minute.

And with Spain looking to level, England sealed victory at the other end with a Marc Guehi strike before Foden added his second to make it five for his team.

Rhian Brewster has just collected the Golden Boot as the leading goalscorer in this World Cup, while Phil Foden (note this name, he's a real gem. Under Pep's guidance he could blossom) has claimed the Golden Ball as player of the tournament. Let's hope they are given the opportunity to progress when they return to England.

Could it be that England is using Nigeria's STAR or GLORY? I can't understand why in the absence of Nigeria England won both Under 21 and Under 17 tournaments. God please restore our glory.

See as everyone happy? 'Yea, England won, came from behind, yada-yada -yada'. If Nigeria had qualified and won this competition now, African people, with their thick, backward skulls, would be first on Nairaland to cuss and moan about how Nigeria wins because of overage players. Africans always so determined for Nigeria not to qualify, preying, moaning or if participating, plotting to break Nigeria footballers legs or for referee to cheat Nigeria . However, soon as Nigeria don't qualify but they do, and they go abroad to represent Africa, they can win nothing, only worship whites and play meekly as if they don't feel worthy enough to be on the same field.
