The key issue which removed their hero from power was his amorous relationship with corrupt people and corruption. So it isnt surprising that day after day, all they do desperately is try and prove to the world that PMB is equally as corrupt as their hero (most even ridiculously claim that PMB is 'more corrupt' than the past order); no wonder you begin to hear dumb and laughable allegations like, "PMB pocketed $25billion missing NNPc money."

I must confess though, PMB has disappointingly not acted swiftly enough in most corruption scandals happening under his nose. Babachir and the NIA dude, and now Dambazau and Malami, these guys are more loke an albatross hanging on neck of PMB's anti-corruption campaign. He would do well to forget the democracy and swiftly conclude these cases.

You are just being so sentimental and inglorious in your submission. In the first place, Mama is still a suspect and have not been found guilty of any crime by a any court of law . Every reasonable person will expect the government to act cautiously but people like you want the president to fire everybody around. We should be grateful that Maima is even around now to face his alleged criminal cases. His return may be planned to get him arrested and prosecuted. Let us wait for all necessary investigation before jumping to hypocritical conclusion. You are not in support of the government and yet you want the government to act in your selfish way of reasoning. If I may ask, when was the GEJ government when Maima stole the pension money and went into hidding? Or was it Buhari that appointed Maima for the Pension job? What did the past government did to get him extradited anywhere he is to face charges? God will forever punish PDP for conspiring to loot this country. You and the PDP will surely remain frustrated because this government will never do it the way you expected.
Take your frustration and shove it where the sun doesn't shine! People with your kind of mindset is why Africa will forever remain backward!

It's bad enough to vote in a dullard as president, what's even worse is a zombefied citizenry who can't hold their leaders accountable!

How safe for you to blame PDP for all Buhari's cluelessness, when the past one month has been inundated with concerns from your own Party members and core loyalist over buharis lack lustre way of doing things in a 21st century and the proportion of looting going on under buhari's nose!

The same APC that helped Maina sneak into the country and back to his former duty post are still the same people who gave him cover to sneak out far away from the law!

Abeg, my brother make you dey use your sense small small nau, shebi you promised us change from the old ways??

Oga Due process, how much longer will it take Buhari to act on/ make public the committee report on Babachir and Oke? How much longer will it take Efcc to act on the petition against Amaechi and Fayemi and nemerous other Apc loyalists thats been on their table for eons? How much longer will it take to investigate the MTN bribery scandal hanging on Garbage Lawal? OK, so how long was it before Buhari swooped on Dasuki, FFK, PEJ, Metuh, Dokpesi, High Court Judges, Saraki, Ekweremadu, Diezani etc.

He has not secured any meaning convictions in his fight against corruption because due process was never followed. Obviously some of these people may have questions to answer, but because of overzealousness and emotions on buharis part, even the simplest cases could not stand in court!

Pls this man has just 4 years to prove his mettle and its almost 3yrs already.

Throwback:

The Buhari we thought we were campaigning for to become president and rescue Nigeria from the brink and who claimed that if we do not destroy corruption it will destroy Nigeria, that Buhari is a Ninja-turtle compared to this slow and sluggish tortoise, accommodator and facilitator of corruption.

Those who trekked to celebrate his victory did not do so for this rubbish, this aloof and unresponsive presidency.

I refuse to accept that this is all we could get from a man who many risked and staked a lot to put into power.

He already gave a glimpse of his docile and sluggish approach when he went napping while the APC caucus of the National Assembly were waiting to meet him upon his own invitation, rather than be at the Senate chamber for their swearing in and election of principal officers. A grave mistake that led to Saraki and a bloody PDP Ekweremadu taking leadership from a sleeping party.

6 months to appoint ministers who have only ensured the failure of the government?

The Buhari brand is finished.

If he has no control or knowledge of happenings in his own government, he should resign and spare us this mockery.
I can see you are still grieving over the DSP, don't worry, you will get over it cheesy

On this it is Prof Sagay that is being extremely unreasonable. The Federal Attorney General misinterpreted the judgment of a court and used same to have a sacked Public Servant back at work without bringing it to the attention of The Head of Service and Sagay says those who pointed out that error are extremely unreasonable! Any rationale human knows who indeed is extremely unreasonable! Truth is, Buhari’s initiatives against corruption is at a stand still or at best sectional and partisan. He needs to correct that if his legacy is not to be rubbished.

pmb's supporters are like rabid dogs.

once the clueless man is exposed, they begin to bark, yap & yelp.

this 'regime' set a bad precedence when it started indiscriminately arresting people alleged to be corrupt, harassing them & their families, breaking into houses without warrants, freezing bank accounts of the accused & those related to the accused, disobeying court orders, releasing false & damaging information to the public just to embarrass the accused etc...

we argued that that this was not the way to fight corruption, but PMB & his mad dogs insisted it was right.

so, now that pmb's own people have been found to be 'corrupt', how come they have suddenly realised that due process must be followed?

how have they suddenly realised that they have to take time to consider reports for months before taking action?

when did they suddenly realise that there is an explanation why it is not proper to arrest & harass corrupt people?

when did they find out that a corrupt person can be excused & actions explained 'logically'?

now that the fly has landed on their scrotum, they have suddenly realised that aggressiveness/violence does not resolve a problem, that gentility, caution & negotiations are best solutions...

hypocrites....
The senator that talked about using air freshener and insecticide in his fight against corruption was absolutely right.

We've always known those who are quick to say "kill the child" are those who have none.

These are detractors who would always look for the most minute of problems to cast aspersions on the president.

The president was ill for a long stretch, only just got back onboard just to find a few questionable decisions had been made in his absence.

Upon his knowledge, came a swift response of dislodging of the "fugitive", who must also have his day in court.

The corrupt mind looks to pin anything on the president and funny enough they haven't succeeded.

By the way, they should please help us look for more dirt. The earlier we do away with baggages, the better.
Rubbish. The grass citting report etc is still with the dumbest Sudanis Buhari

For your info neither of the sgf or nia boss stole money. The sgf is accused of awarding a contract to a company he is signatory to, while the nia boss case was he didn't disclose anything to the current government about money warehouse for clandestine operations

Maina: Buhari’s critics ‘extremely unreasonable’- Sagay

Mr. Sagay has denied resigning from his role as the chairman of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Advisory Committee, PACAC.
“It is absolutely untrue,” he said. “I dey kampe!”

October 28, 2017

Hassan Adebayo

President Muhammadu Buhari’s anti-corruption adviser, Itse Sagay, has said the anti-graft war of the administration is “pure”, regardless of growing criticisms over the government’s handling of corruption allegations against top officials.
Mr. Sagay said this in the wake of the the controversial re-integration of Abdurasheed Maina, futigitive former pension chief, into the civil service.
Mr. Sagay said critics were being “extremely unreasonable” and desperate to find fault.
PREMIUM TIMES had last week broken news of the shocking recall and promotion of Mr. Maina, which had been shrouded in secrecy by the authorities, including the Ministries of Justice and Interior, and the Office of Head of Service of the Federation.
Mr. Maina was in 2013 dismissed by the Federal Civil Service Commission following allegations of leading massive corruption to the tune of N2 billion in his capacity as chairman of the Pension Reform Task Team.
Afterwards he turned fugitive, as the Police and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission sought his arrest.
Since the the news of his secret recall was broken by PREMIUM TIMES, the Buhari administration has faced harsh criticisms of its major boast – anti-corruption fight – with many accusing Mr. Buhari of lacking the will to act against officials of the government under serious allegations of corruption and abuses.
But Mr. Sagay, a senior lawyer and professor of Law, disagreed, saying critics were being unreasonable and only desperate to find fault in Mr. Buhari’s anti-corruption commitment.
“People who are determined to find wrong will find it no matter how pure the situation is,” said Mr. Sagay in interview with PREMIUM TIMES on Saturday.

He continued: “Maina escaped out of this country under Jonathan. When he was sneaked back into the country, did Buhari know about it? The first time he knew he ordered that the man be dismissed and arrested. What more do you want him to say? I think people are extremely unreasonable.”
Although Mr. Buhari was assessed as acting quickly enough to “order immediate disengagement” of Mr. Maina, a lawyer, Jiti Ogunye, told PREMIUM TIMES the president lacks such powers.
“That was a populist extrication from a hot scandal,” said Mr. Ogunye.
Speaking further, Mr. Sagay faulted the demand that the Interior Minister, Abdulrahman Dambazzau and the Justice Minister, Abubakar Malami, be fired for their role in the recall.
“These are early days. Inquiries are going on to find out the role of everybody. He is not going to fire anybody without getting all the sides. Do you know he even wrote the Head of Service? It is when investigation is concluded, that you start hearing action being taken,” said Mr. Sagay.
Mr. Buhari has since Monday received report on the process of the recall from Head of Service, Wilfred Oyo. But he is yet to act.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sagay has denied resigning from his role as the chairman of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Advisory Committee, PACAC.
“It is absolutely untrue,” he said. “I dey kampe!”

You just goofed!
In fact I didn't expect to receive mention like this on that brief and concise post of mine.
What are you defending gan na, because we want to defend Buhari now, we should not use our God's given brain again bah?
I mentioned that they should be charged to court or did I mention that he should kill them. If some body is accused of any crime or malpractice, after examination or interrogation, he or she should be charged to the court under 24 hrs or as the case may demand. That is that about that.
About the allegations, fmr sgf was accused or alleged of using one of his companies to bid and execute a govt contract under his watch which is contrary to the code of conduct of his office he signed. Moreover, it was investigated and discovered that the amount quoted by the company was overstated and thereby spent lesser or almost insignificant amount on the project (clearing of idp camps). Is that not criminal enough to your assessment?
On the other part, nia DG was alleged of relocating govt money which was supposed to be used for the state to his own personal property in excuse of keeping it for the state for safety, where is safer, his apartment or CBN? This is even contradictory to the rule of his engagement. 2, he did not follow due process in discharging his (illegal) duty. He was disloyal and unpatriotic by not disclosing such amount ($43m) to the new govt under the watch of PMB. He also failed to comply with the TSA policy. He was in the possession of an amount that is ridiculously more than the constitutional amount he was supposed to retain for the purpose he claimed (special duty contingency) which should not be more than $10m. And finally, according to unconfirmed facts, the money was supposed to be mearnt for PDP campaign in 2015 which is illegal and fraudulent, how can political party be using taxpayers money to run a party campaign? All these facts are nothing of concern to you bah? So, in a word, how long should we wait for PMB to charge these accused to court?
The same case with this current Maina's now, they will not take immediate and decisive action on such cases now, then after some years, another govt will come in and there will be confusion everywhere just like what is obtainable in maina's case. My point!
