Queenlovely:Seriously! I like your comment on this issue. 30 years from now, these comic-relief politicians would be dead, gone, and buried, with their memories fading into twilight. They only way to achieve immortality would be through their legacy. That's all that matters. That is why we have men like Obafemi Awolowo, Nnamdi Azikwe, Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa, Herbert Macaulay, Funmilayo Ransom-Kuti and Alvan Ikoku. These were people, who despite their numerous flaws and tribalistic tendencies, still they stood for something. They all had the interest of the regions and their people at heart. 30 years from now, no one would ever remember the likes of Okorocha, Theodore Orji, Orji Uzo Kalu, Obiano, Fayose, Amosun, Ajimobi, Yahaya Bello, Dino Melaye, Stella Odua, Bukola Saraki, Diezani Madueke,Maina, etc. Their existence would be 4gotten to the general public because they left no ground-breaking impact on the lives of the citizens no matter the amount Of Money they siphoned from the coffers of the country. By then we pray Nigeria would be in the capable hands of sapients with the interest of the masses at hand. Post No Bill |
