The new way to let the social misfits who impose themselves upon us is Polls boycott. Polls.boycott drive the message home to all and sundry, that we the people have lost interest and faith in the current demonic system as imposed upon us by terrorist s.and Jihardists. |

Election boycott won't solve any problem. It will rather exacerbate the extant problems. IPOB, as I've posted it twice here, should have changed tactics and metamorphosed into a political movement by supporting a candidate in the coming Anambra election. If they support a candidate, it is 1000% sure that the candidate would win. Now people, imagine the kinda loyalty and influence IPOB will command from such a governor, even state and federal house of assembly members from there would be held to account for good governance, cos crave for good governance is why the IPOB movement was created in the first place. If they succeed in ensuring victory for a candidate in the anambra election, they will surely succeed in other southeast states. in fact, with the crowd behind Nnamdi Kanu, an unknown candidate can win the election, and that will eliminate godfatherism. Any candidate that rode to power on the back of IPOB but refuses to deliver good governance or support people oriented bills, would get the Dino Melaye recall treatment. That can then be replicated across the country. That way, we can free ourselves from political godfathers and channel a new path for Nigeria. But Nnamdi Kanu missed it and his followers insulted any one with contrary opinion |

I've never seen a more mooronic idea in politics than "election boycott". Funny thing is these people actually think they're making sense. Apart from the fact voter apathy has always been the hallmark of SE politics, can any of you explain exactly what this boycott will or should achieve? |
| Re: History Will Be Made In Anambra. by Obi1kenobi(m): 4:03pm On Nov 02, 2017 |
SnowJay92:Don't expect any coherent response. These are the people that encapsulate perfectly why Igbos have proven the most incompetent political bloc in the country: a majority tribe that acts like a minority tribe. While minority tribes like Fulanis are able to assert their power in Northern and national politics. They're the same kind of people that told the communities to boycott the census in 2006 for whatever daft reason. Then the MASSOB clowns led by Uwazuruike that orchestrated the boycotts came out crying later expressing regret. |

Obi1kenobi:if you read this thread you'll understand the benefit of boycotting the Elections, but just in case, let me ask you. are you saying Buhari is using the census of 2006 to appoint ministers or to marginalise us? secondly I'm not a fan and I've never believed in uwazurike. This boycott will be the biggest statement that the people have made in the History of this country. secondly there are going to be outsiders monitoring this epoch making boycott so as to be convinced in other for more support to the igbo People. sorry for my English construction I'm busy. |

Tripleoluwa:This is exactly why Easterners are not taken seriously in the Nigger Area. You want and are expecting IPOB to join Nigerian politics and vote enmass for a Governor, and by magic there will be a happy ending... Yeah it's that easy. First of all, ALL parties in the Nigger Area are sworn to the Nigger Area status quo, which is why APGA Obiano was among the first to pay homage to Buhari shorty after he was selected as President. That is why former APGA Obi as governor and APGA Obiano as governor donate each year to Nigerian Police, Army, etc., to show their commitment as Warrant chiefs in the East. All the other parties and candidates will equally do the same, and even before then pay required fees and bribes to clinch their ticket, and in the end, their loyalty is to The Godfather's and not the people. Tell me, how can the East go from 1 or 2 of 4 regions to 5 of 36 or even 11of 36 states? How can PDP already zone the 2019 Presidency to the North? How can the SE Govs and members of Parliament and Ohaneze be meeting and dining when their people are suffering and marginalized, only to be begging the FG for the same things they begged for 10 years ago? Tell me why the SE govs even Proscribed a peaceful movement called IPOB....Is it because they did call for a boycott? Tell me did the British people decide to create a new party to tackle the EU situation or they said heck no we dont want? Why does Gilbratar and Kosovo have their own FIFA teams? By 2019 you will see Yoruba and Fulani threatening boycott of elections (IPOB strategy) and you'll see how more politically savvy that will be for people known to play politics better than Easterners, while you are talking like a child. No wonder you couldn't get the 6th state in your region when you went to with over 30 proposals. Disunity, and in fact stupidity is common. THANK YOU IPOB |

fellowman:This is the same mistake you guys continue to make, do you think the outside community hasn't heard of the hate speeches from IPOB Nnamdi kanu etc? . Do you think the international community hasn't heard about the deaths in Umuahia, Aba, Obigbo etc and what action did the international community take? . All the international monitoring team want to know is if the election was free and fair, boycott by IPOB or not, a winner is declared. |

fellowman: let's take Rochas for example, he was in APGA and later he changed to APC what would he had done differently if he was still in APGA. it's the same thing. did he change to APC because the majority of people who voted for him were APC? No. he did that for himself not for the people. the ideology does not change, the wasteful spending doesn't change, they are the same people, but come November 18th We the people will shock them on that day.I agree with u on this |

| Re: History Will Be Made In Anambra. by realhumanity: 7:49am On Nov 06, 2017 |
The day most of you will understand that the international community doesn't care about you, the better for us all. Catalonia, Kurds, etc have been crying and some are going into referendum but no one is recognizing them. Yours is even worse, you are calling the UN to call for referendum. If you like stay at home, the only thing it will do is make ipob trend for a week and another Nigerian scandal will eclipse it the next week. You all need to find a way to put in biafrans in power and not Nigerianists. If you cannot take the power from them, then obviously you are not a majority. |

krendo:You are very correct. Boycotting the election is as good as handing over Anambra state to APC on a platter of gold. Anambra people should vote and defend their votes. |
