Getting to this position shows he's a great hunter, just that his bullet or gun got finished and as an African hunter there is always that plan B.

On a more serious note, the most friendly of all his companions is the snake so that shouldn't be a big deal for him.

Hang on. The lion can't wait forever, the croc might still hang around but soon enough it will get tired of waiting. The snake wouldn't mind you as long as you don't threaten it.

Well as long as the snake is not hungry this could hold. How long the hunter would be able to wait is another consideration. cool

ok probably cut a branch as someone suggested, try sending the snake down from the tree and watch what happens next. Man must fight on or die. It just looks that way. There is no holiday. grin

Yeah the most friendly among them and the first reaction of a snake could be to avoid the human until provoked unless the snake is terribly hungry (my thought).
