So this evening around 6pm, i subscribed for glo #500 for 1.6GB and i made up my mind to watch what really eats up my data. I have already blocked all background processes, in my phone. So i conneted my phone to pc and started working. I also used my phone to chat in the process. After 3hrs or browsing and chatting, i decided to check my data usage from setting. Behold android OS ate the largest data. How can i stop this pls.

Mine is showing 246MB...... The interaction of android os, and the blend within the Android framework, it's inevitable it's going to consume data.......

A vehicle does not reach its final destination due to the content of its tank alone........

Ya...something like that....am using a custom rom

If you're rooted, download android firewall plus from playstore..

Use it to give Internet access to only apps you want to, your data consumption will improve!
