Didn't gather nerves to fix it! Switched over to second phone since then

Signs of wear on the body.

does the screen still touch with the broken glass?
with the battery shifted,can it still come on and work well?

Yes the screen works without any glitch.
The battery well fixed and reset to have a clean device
