Witches have upgraded now. No need to change to animals to operate. With the level of digitization, they now appear and disappear within a twinkle of an eye.

The owl is probably old and was on its last flight and coincidentally died at his door.

We need to get rid of this idea of seeing certain creatures as evils. A black cat in the night means nothing, a owl or a bat flying in the night also means nothing.

I once lived in a village in the South-South were all dogs were being killed in the name of being possessed.

Owls are birds of prey and feed predominantly on rodents- rats and mice. Rodents are abundant in human populations especially around homes.
What this means is that contrary to what you think owls are very commonly found around regular homes.
Because they are nocturnal they are hardly spotted but if you are observant you can occasionally hear their hooting anytime from 11pm.
After feeding they will return to their nesting grounds before dusk.

There is absolutely nothing unusual in finding a dead owl around your house.

Media personality, Ebuka Uchendu, took to social media to share a photo of a dead owl at his door this morning. However the photo came with this question "why is there a dead owl at my door this morning?".

Well, his followers said his village people came for him.

That's a barn owl. There could be a source of water around his house. The bird does not have oil feathers like other owls so it has to deep itself in water to dust off. If it takes to the air with that, it may lose control. However the bird has a freeze state! Maybe it's not dead. It might have activated the suspended animation state due to fear. Dispose it and it regains life and fly away. No witches anyway?
