Good. Obtaining Part-Time Bsc is the best alternative if you don't gain admission through Jamb. Uniosun Part-time student pays same fee with Full time and both Full time and Part time student are collecting same certificate. Part time won't be on written ur certificate. There are so many people out there who are in the university running a Part time programme but u will never know. There is no discrimination between part time and full time.

NYSC
As expected, Part time is 5 years
and for ND,IJMB and others, Its 4 years.

Now. as a Part time student on your 5th year in the university, Your Full time counterpart will be on service and immediately after the NYSC, they will be given their NYSC certificate which will enable them to go for their masters. while u as a Part time student on your 5th year. Immediately after your exam, UNIOSUN will send ur name to NYSC, then NYSC will issue you a NYSC exclusion Letter. Then u print it out.This will enable you to apply for masters.


In a nutshell, there is no difference between full time and part time, cos both will apply for masters at the same time.

Same payment, same fees, same procedure with full time student. I pray they reduce the fees oo cos something is happening. Its likely the fee is reduced. The entrance exam is gonna be based on General question including English.

There's something I noticed in Unsioun Admission Process this year... People Scored very High... Having 50+ or 60+ isn't a Criteria based on the Merit just released...

For the CAPS issue, If you had chosen any other school apart from UNIOSUN or you're planing to attend any other institution (Polytechnic, Monotechnic, College of Edu Or any other Private University).. I'll advice you not to accept the Admission yet on CAPS portal... You might not be considered any longer for Admission in other institutions for admission.. Just relax till the day yu see your name on any of the admission list

Guys don't give Up ooo.. Don't sit inside your house and check Nairaland and UNIOSUN portal for yur names alone.. The 2nd list will be a long list for only the fitest.. You scoring 60+ might not really help now... Its now tougher ...
