What makes you think the elections would be free and fair.
I can bet anything on it that if the Buhari goverment perceives towards the election that it would lose,the goverment would carefreely deploy the same state resources as Jonathan did and its sympathetic and similarly desperate state governors would deploy the same bare faced rigging tactics the Likes of Wike and Akpabio did for Jonathan.
Nobody should be deluded any further that in order to remain in power this goverment would do almost anything because they know the kind of inquest Nigerians would demand of a new goverment on that of Buhari and the kind of mind boggling malfeasance that wil be revealed from it,would almost certainly make the rest of their lives a turmoil while permanently tarnishing any little left integrity it and its appointees have pretenses to.

My brother,the way is simple:
Let the goverment show sincerity of purpose and the Fulani menace,if not totally wiped out would at least be drastically curtailed.
The fact is that there are some people in the circles of goverment that dont know or know but refuse to accept that the state comes over any or familial ties,so are sympathetic to the Fulani herdsmen.
Its something similar happening in the charade called a corruption fight,the goverment looking the other way when family,associates,appointees of the goverment are fingered,but hard on opposition members,particularly those that refuse to play ball.
Sincerity is what is simply required.

No one cares because no one is willing to do what is meant to be...referendum
