Pls I'd really love to know how strong Med Lab Sci is in UI...as in is it reckoned in the same level as MBBS?

Als o compared to other schools like UNIBEN, UNIZIK, etc how'd u compare UI in terms of the quality of their MLS dept alone?

If you want MBBS, pls go for it.

Don't give yourself unnecessary solace by comparing MBBS to MLS. Its like comparing death to slumber.

MLS is a very good course, go for it if you love it

UI admission is a mixed feelings

you'll be happy at one end that you made it at the same time
sad at the other end because your friends couldn't make the merit cut off mark.

I pray God help us all

Not only UI admission

It is natural selection of survival of the fittess.

Not everyone will be great,

Not everyone that got admission will graduate

Not all that were admitted to MBBS will be inducted into the noble profession.

Not everyone that try to be a doctor again and again will eventually get it

fingers will forever not be equal

Not all patient will be healed. Some will even die.

Bitter, but true.

That is life.

I'll advice chemistry
54.25 is the merit cutoff for geology while 50 is merit cutoff for chemistry.
Chemistry "should " have more admission space than geology.

However, this depends on your aggregate. If you have a good 60+, then you can pick geology.

All d best bro.

Sir.. Am Akinola Ayomide..... Your friend Busayo's younger brother.....congratulations on the success u made...... I also made UI mbbs merit with 76.5 Agg.....

How can I apply for JUPEB programme with an accredited study center?

Anyone who knows much about JUPEB should be aware that there are accredited study
centers for JUPEB and also there are centers that are not accredited.
In this post, we have provided full details on how to apply for the JUPEB programme at any of
our registration centers nationwide. The Application form for the 2017/2018 session is still on cale(#10,000) for
JUPEB(Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board ) or visit this Page frequently for latest JUPEB updates .
JUPEB is a 9-MONTHS intensive programme to qualify you for JUPEB final Exams, which will
give you access to apply for direct entry into any university of your choice.

HOW JUPEB WORKS

You can use your JUPEB certificate to apply for Direct Entry Admission into 200Level in about 70% of Nigerian
Universities of your choice after the Program.
Candidates are to select any THREE (3) A/LEVEL SUBJECTS(JUPEB is an Alevel Program) that they are going to be taught during the programme: Physics, Chemistry, biology, Mathematics&Geography for Science students. . Economics, Business management, Accounts, Government,Sociology, CRS/IRS, Literature for Arts/
Social Sciences/Humanities candidates.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS INTO THE JUPEB PROGRAM
(a) five O/L credit passes as contain in jamb
brochure
(b) Candidates Awaiting their O/level results can also apply but O/L
results must be available before University admission.

Before you can make use of your JUPEB results there is a primary requirement you are expected to have met, which we think is no problem to you as a candidate. The primary requirement of anyone seeking to attend or register for JUPEB programme is to have his O level result complete, or at least use awaiting result, but in an expectation that you are going to write your O level result while the JUPEB programme is going on, since you can’t make use of it (the
JUPEB result) without having your O level result completed.

Who Can Attend JUPEB Program?

As long as you meet the minimum requirement of using waiting result you are good to attend the JUPEB programme. JUPEB is not a program for the lazy, but it’s for those who want to get serious reading their
books. JUPEB is not meant for the brilliant students; it’s for those who are ready to read and concentrate more on
their books. That is why your mindset is very important. If you have not read about JUPEB
admission http://alevelsprogramme.com/benefits-jupeb-program/will help you better in understanding it.

How To Make Use Of Your JUPEB Result

To use your JUPEB result to gain admission into 200 Level, you need to visit JAMB website or their nearest office to obtain a D.E form (Direct Entry), fill them in correlation with your JUPEB result, by then you have the opportunity to choose first and second choice university. Another interesting thing is, you have the opportunity of choosing your course which will be determined by how many points you were able to obtain from the JUPEB exam from your JUPEB result. Again, JUPEB results do not expire, you can use to gain admission even after ten years you have obtained it.

JUPEB Year To Year Calendar

JUPEB calendar starts around April every year and it ends by October for the registration. By September, while the
registration is still going on, the lectures for the session will start, which is usually September. The lectures will run through to May the following year. From May the revision for the session will start. JUPEB examination can start from late May to early June, and the examination lasts for two weeks . By late July or early September the same year, the result should have been released. About 85% of Nigerian Universities accept the JUPEB programme.

How JUPEB Lectures Is Being Organized In Our Various JUPEB Centers

In the absence of fixed lectures or excluding night classes (fixed classes by lecturers when the examination is coming nearer), the lectures runs from Monday through Friday and Practical classes on Saturdays for Faculty of Sciences.

For more information and advice about the JUPEB programme please contact 08148501101 or visit www.alevelsprogramme.com

You really don't have to login or register before you can access the CAPS portal. Just log in to your JAMB profile and click on the option tab, underneath the admission option, you'll see the CAPS tab, click on it and there you are.

PS: if you're using a mobile device, you just might have to switch to destop site.

It is a good thing you are starting your preparations now.

I see a lot of intelligent lads here claiming UI marked them down or they performed more than the scores they saw on their dashboard.

The truth is being an intelligent student is not enough for UI putme, you must also be very smart!
The exam will not pose any difficulties once you can activate the smartness in You.

By being smart, I mean you must be very swift and accurate. The exam requires you to be very time conscious. If you are a science/tech aspirant, you must learn to solve without the usage of a calculating device. Learn how to quickly solve decimals in few seconds using standard form. Learn how to find square root of non-perfect square numbers without using a calculator. You must learn a lot of things. Just learn!

There are 100 questions in total. 25 questions from each of your UTME subjects combination. Duration is 90 minutes(about 54 seconds per question), that's fair enough.

What are the subjects you will be writing in UTME so I can forward the practice questions to your mail?
Brother mi, OAU bleeped up this year. Please send me the pdf
