With increasing need to tap from online opportunities, every businessman or woman is looking to have an online store where he or sell can sell their range of products and services.

It was learnt that Asa, which is also known as Agere in other parts of Yorubaland, is a traditional festival of man walking on long stilts to entertain the public.

At an elaborate ceremony attended by many traditional rulers and community leaders in Ikorodu and its environs, the revival of Asa also featured the launch of “Asa Arokolo”, a book on the festival published by the Ikorodu Division Rebirth Foundation.
When will "REAGOS" state erect the statue of Chukwu Obuko Kerewawa. We will not take this. Reagos is a No man's land.

To all of you saying we are in the era of statues, egebenuoshii yii s'oun. (rotate your smelly mouths). If not for your governor that went about building statues to unknown gods and aliens, what is a city without arts?
Most importantly the ones that speaks much about the cultural attributes and heritage of the local people. After all no one is complaining of unpaid salaries and pensions in Lagos, so mind your own business

Can you imagine the insult Lagos State government to Ikorodu residents.

Several communities, such as Owutu, Ojokoro village and new town, Agbede, Ishawo, Igbo-olomu, Ori-okuta, and several others have no good access road. The only thing we are entitled to in ikorodu is a statue. Even, the road from Ogolonto to Abute, around Dangote, is bad.

For every election, APC records massive vote from there and a lot of people residing in ikorodu are tax payers. Yet we are being paid back with negative development.

The Ishawo road they promised to start is still dragging after several awards to tar the road in the past. Instead of the state government to work on it fast, they are playing politics with it.

We are also waiting for 2019 to give our support to another party at all level. We are watching you. APC have betrayed us.

The recent resurgence of Pan-Yorubanism (especially in Lagos) is a product of Igbo aggression, insults and abuse of privileges by that group of people. Our house of assembly now speaks Yoruba on its floor, we have made it compulsory for all pupils to study Yoruba language in Lagos schools. More pan-Yoruba moves to come. You're welcome to relocate to your mud region if you don't like them.

APC governor and statue competition, when one is busy constructing statue of people that doesn't have any impact in the lives of his people and tradition, the other is constructing statue to remember his hero and his tradition. Who is going to win the award for the best statue governor now between them

You should thank oduduwa whatever gods that you worship that I’ve stopped being mischievous.

Looking at that tall izaga, I would’ve smiled, wait for everyone to go to bed then come there in the dead of the night and amputate one or both legs with my saw. In fact one leg would do.

It would watch it tilt like the tower of Pisa then fall yakata like that statue at one yeye high court like that before going home.

Afonjas would wake up from their sleep and curse and swear like they’ve never done before while I’ll be smiling and sharpening my saw to amputate the legs of that statue when it’s back on its spindly legs again.

as much as roads should be constructed statues that showcase Yoruba culture and tradition is almost as important. roads will also be build. that statue can't be more than 5m naira even with inflated contract. 5m naira can't tarr 50m road. take a chill pill

showcasing culture and tradition is not negative development. some non-yorubas will learn about asa just by seeing that statue and reading about it later
