Today, I saw an iPhone X on Jumia advertised for 600k while a plot of land in Ibeju-Lekki is selling for 700k. After 1 year, the same iPhone X will be valued at 250k (or less) while land in Ibeju-Lekki is expected to appreciate to 2 Million per plot (or more). A car purchased 2 years ago will have depreciated in value today while a landed property bought 2 years ago will have appreciated in value. The point is, be smart in your spending choices...
