A soldier killed in active duty is the state's property and they may decide to bury their own in military cementary or even in the location, or release to the family.

It is not always a hard rule to release the corpse to the family.

He fought gallantly for his country and lost his life - let us not disrespect his action and instead honor his bravery.
Yes, one can say that Nigeria is a country not worth dying for but we have to show utmost respect to our heroes that make that ultimate sacrifice.

Read Army constitution on death in active duty before commenting. He died a hero and he is a property of the state.

Every soldier is a property of the state, spirit, soul and body. The return of the corpse of any deceased soldier to his family is only a privilege and an honour, and at the mercy of the superiors in the Army.

This wailing family is just crying foul for no just reason. The Army can release a statement that his body was devoured by vultures and nothing will happen.

Any sane family would mourn their loved one(s) the day he/she decided to join the Army. The future of every soldier is untimely death. Service in the Army till retirement is simply a miracle.

Who don die don die regardless of how him die or where them see the body bury or vultures feed on am.

None of it matters. What matters is the final destination, Heaven or Hell.

RIP Soldier Boy!!!!
