I already did but the point is that the band 28 is not compatible with most devices in Nigeria, even those within the zone

Have you checked supported bands in your phone use MTK Engineering? And check other networks provider supported bands

One very important point everybody seems to be missing is that fact that your battery life is very dependent on your network connection too.

If you area have very poor network service you will see that your battery usage will be higher.

If you network keeps changing from edge to 3g to Hsdpa then your battery life will be terrible.
