Moji Christianah Adeyeye Appointed As NAFDAC Director-General By Buhari by PurityPhils(op): 11:18pm On Nov 10, 2017

Professor Moji Christianah Adeyeye, the wife of Senator Olusola Adeyeye representing Osun Central constituency at the National Assembly, has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, by the Federal Government, Nigeria’s burgeoning online integrated media, ALEDEH can authoritatively report.

Professor Mrs. Adeyeye who is the founder of Drugs for AIDS and HIV Patients, a nonprofit organization committed to prevention, education, care and treatment of HIV/AIDS children in Nigeria, takes over from Mr. Ademola Andrew Magbojuri who was appointed as the Acting Director-General of NAFDAC in September.

We are being marginalized. This should have been given to an easterner.

Truth be told , achievement of Dora can't be matched by anyone in that agency.

Don't tell me an Ibo man should have been picked cos Dora did well. You have one Dora from the east and nobody like her is there in the east living right now.

Give them agency to uead, and they'll go in concert with their kinsmen to produce and sell fake drugs while their brother at nafdac will put a blind eye.

How did she merit the position? Because she's a professor? Because she has an NGO or because her husband is a senator? Someone that has never worked in an agency gets picked as it's director general, is that how it's done? Except this report omitted the part where she has been with the agency for years, then this appointment makes absolutely no sense.

I see another tough non compromising person in her. Her husband, senator(Prof) Sola Adeyeye too is an egghead formerly lecturing in the US. She's obviously qualified. I only hope she has the 'Dora madness' to succeed in the dangerous Nigerian drug market

What has this senator's wife done to merit an role as sensitive as NAFDAC DG? All these mumbo jumbo political appointments is part of what is killing this country

Dominique, being emotional won't make you right. Kachikwu NEVER worked in NNPC neither was he a board member of NNPC before buhari appointed him the GMD. Dora NEVER worked in NAFDAC before OBJ appointed her DG.

I hope she can be an effective anf visionary administrator becaise from experience most Professors are very bad administrators , if in doubt just look at waht they did with our Federal Universities.
