It is President Muhammadu Buhari that is at the heart of this crisis in the Niger Delta region. The good people of the oil producing region of the Niger Delta are requesting for federal government presence in their area to develop this difficult riverine terrain. why not develop it? Imagine the huge cost it is now costing the federal government to fly in military gun boat, helicopter, guns, bullets, etc and also pay the offshore allowance of military personnel. That money would have change the environment in Ogoni land, the environment in Bayelsa, rivers state etc.

If it is to create a long flyover from Warri to Gbaramatu kingdom. Is it wrong? why not create the massive development in that poor riverine community in Delta state, Ondo state, Akwa Ibom, Rivers state, Edo state etc.

Oil producing region in the Niger delta need standard hospital, they need good school for their children, they need clean water, motorable road, good jobs for their children. why should all this go beyond the good people of the Niger delta that are contributing to the federal purse.

The money Buhari is wasting in the north east of Nigeria, middle belt to look for illusive oil and gas should have been diverted to turn this poor community to a great urban city with massive infrastructure.

I blame Buhari for all this crisis. He is the architect of the misfortune facing the Niger delta as he is making negotiation near impossible. We are not talking about the mistake of Ex-President Jonathan. His era is gone for good. Now that Buhari is there he should listen to the voice of reason and develop the Niger delta.

Buhari fellow Katsina born ex-President Musa Yar'adua had good intention for the development of the Niger delta but it Buhari that is completely ignorant and uneducated. He so believe in military terrorism that is using military to address issue that can be closed out with dialogue.

Buhari should be advise by his military chief that it is grossly dangerous to carry military equipment to the oil facilities. A little gun shot will explodes into high flames and his soldiers and those around can not dare the dangerous flames coupled with the gas emission.

So Buhari should know that any explosion will scatter the area without the military men surviving and escaping from the consequence of a fight in the creeks.

It is grossly dangerous to fight where hundreds of gas and oil pipeline are flowing. I have not seen any country where fighting is conducted in an oil and gas flowing community. This is not the North east or Borno state or Yobe state. It is a community with highly inflammable gas which Buhari soldier can not even survive if a gun shot is made on the massive gas and oil facilities. It is only peaceful dialogue and negotiation based on equity and justice that will keep the peace in the oil producing community. That is why Nigeria need to be restructured.

Come to think of it, our military can not even catch the boys. They will explode the oil facilities and flee to their hideout in a gorrila style action.
