Hi wenmasters. I installed a plugin into my site to stoo the menace of spambot. It worked, but the problem nw is that it has restricted all access to the site altogether; including mine. How do I get into my dashboard

Just login to your site ftp and rename or delete the plugin folder in wp-content/plugins

Here are steps you need to carry out.

Login to your cpanel

go to File Manager

Click on Public_html

Navigate to your website content. (if it's WordPress then you will find it at wp-content)

Click on Plugins

Rename that spambot plug-in.

Now, login to your site dashboard and you will be logged in.

I advise you use Akismet for prevention of spam bots and comments.

Akismet is free or you choose to get their paid version too.
