The vice-Chancellor Prof. Idowu Olayinka said Ozibo Ekele of the Department of History was one of the 186 students who made First Class at the 2015/2016 convocation ceremonies, which began yesterday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Olayinka said 5,629 students graduated in various academic programmes from 12 faculties, including the Distance Learning Centre.

I copied this to show how relevant the distance learning centre is. If your choice of course is available there kindly go.

You'll be matriculated and convocated in the same manner they do regular students.

Also, I think the fact that you wrote postume gives you upper hand as regards their admission.

The distance learning is not for adults alone, I know the daughter of a past vc that has taken the form already

Yes, I know UI are very transparent in terms of admission but that doesn't mean that we should fully assured that we are admitted just because we beat the cut off point....Even, if nobody tamper with our score, what of the system...
All these electronic thing can not be trusted. My case as an example, the first time I wanted to check my aggregate score, I log in to my account and the thing was saying I don't have an aggregate score because I scored less than 50 in my post utme whereas it was the same site that said I scored 65 in my post utme before I now log in again and the thing now show the real thing....

To cut everything short, it's not over until it's all over....you can't fully assured that you entering UI this year until you get your admission later..... I pray God suffice for us all (Amin)

I think one have to first understand the real function of caps,caps was created as a clearing house for admission and to stop admission racketering and multiple admission,all schools must subscribe to caps and follow fg policy of merit,locality,elds for even balance,infact male and female ratio feature this yr.ui vc has already said the modality to be used ,45%merit,30%locality and i assume 25%elds .so i believe if u met the cut off and ur subject comb tally,u are good to go ui will their best brain are not shortchange and if u are very close,locality will work for u since u will be graded on score.caps is automated,so just keep checking back till ur status change.shalom

Boss, I won't be able to say much on any reading Style because I don't read much, I was just lucky to pass

But, as regards fear, I've never been afraid of any examination, even when I was an unserious student.
Anytime am going for any examination, I just tell myself, YOUVE READ AND HAVE DONE YOUR BEST, ANY QUESTION THAT WILL BE IN YHE EXAMINATION WILL BE FROM ALL I'VE READ.
Another thing is, avoid sadists during examination, I mean people that will tell you how the examination has been hard for years and will be hard that year too. Your examination score is determined by yourself alone not by what anyone or any group of people Says or feel. Take for example, I've been seeing different comments on the Ui Postume before the examination, when I got to the hall, I was almost forced to ask if we are there to write mock or collect another set of practice questions (I didn't score 80/90+ oo maybe because I was only concerned about meeting my cut off marks)

Lastly, Believe in God. The Bible says ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE. if you believe and work hard, success will be yours.

Hmm..

Firstly, because you had 251 doesn't mean you didn't do well, shiit happens, and you know jamb ish too..

To be honest, there's no any general effective way of reading, people have different ways of reading.. Just read, don't force yourself, if you feel like you're tired , drop it and come back to it if probably you have the time.

You don't need to, the moment you enter the exam hall with fear, mehn.. you will not going to be helping yourself...

Just enter the exam hall with the mindset that you've already pass the exam..

And it is not a must you read the whole Ababio , abeg.. It is how much you read that matters but how much do you understand!!!

There is no institution that is foolish or totally foolish yes there might be some lecturers that lack adequate knowledge but Dat doesn't give any one the right to call all the lecturers foolish or d students studying at yabatech foolish.....
