That's 7 years to be served concurrently, the 105 years is just sensationalism by the media. Worse case scenario they will be out in four years if they have a good lawyer.

U don't get it. They are spending 7 years each. It's concurrently.

Also, that's still better than jungle justice for those stealing matches.

The only sensible comment here!
Sadly Nigerians don't read, they just hop into a thread and start displaying their illiteracy.

They would serve just 7yrs each! Probably less for good behavior.

[quote author=epospiky post=62361796]Because they are civil servants; if they were politicians this issue would go with wind. This country is a joke. But 105 years sef....dey for kuku say life imprisonment na.[/quotis

The question to ask is are the seven and ten years for each of the charges running concurrently or independently? If it is concurrently, then those guys are in for a good time of just 7 and 10 yrs and by prison calendar, 5 and 8 yrs is it.
Re: 2 Civil Servants Sentenced To 105 Years Imprisonment In Abuja Over 1bn Fraud by Yaluji(m): 12:30pm On Nov 14, 2017
70yrs for 10 counts charge and 35yrs for 5 counts charge respectively to be served concurrently which means that they are going to serve 7yrs in prison which 3yrs 8months, so let forget the 105yrs mentioned
