2. In the book of Numbers 18:21-24 reveals what the tithe is to be used for. "Behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, the work of the tabernacle of meeting" (verse 21). Tithes were given to Levi to do the work of God: to cover living expenses, equipment, upkeep of the tabernacle and its accouterments, etc.

That pastor is just deceiving you.He knows the truth yet he tries to cover it by using the situation going in the church to buttress his point. Now ask that your pastor were was it stated clearly we shouldn't pay tithe in the Bible? From Genesis to Revelation there's none of such so he should be able to bodly state categorically or expressly from the Bible were it was stated that tithe is fraud and shouldn't be paid based on the Bible. He state were it's stated in the Bible

When about 85% of all revenue generated by a local assembly is remitted to the head quarters. Take for instance Mountain of fire or Redeem that has more than 10,000 branches worldwide. Assuming each local assembly generates only a #100,000 a month. Which is extremely conservative. That's #850 million going to the GOs and his business partners on a monthly basis.

And according to them tithe and offering can't buy private jet. I really wonder what else buys the private jet for them. Is it the books they mandate the local assemblies to buy?
